Hmm, you got a point there. Players placed in the players folder under the main Egoboo folder (and not under application data), will be visible for everyone as normal.

One solution would be to place the private files in the Shared Application data instead of the User Application Data folder (but then you lose the benefits for protecting your saves from other users, etc.)

No success with the new binary. I don't get any error messages, but my anti-virus program won't let me run it under any circumstances, thinking it's a virus. Anytime I try to, it simply gets deleted.

Yeah, I'm using Norton. However, I don't get this problem with any other executable I try to run.

I've fixed the Shadow Palace bug. Collisions is a work in progress. The other two are bugs that need to be looked at.

:ack: oh no. That shouldn't be true. It seems to be a law of software developing that every bugfix brings some new bugs... the "pick up random shopkeepers, guards or cobols, export them and let your savegame be destroyed" bug was fixed, and now... that reminds me of the spellbook skin thing in 2.6.8 (or so!?) :waah:
But it's no problem. Shit happens, and I'm confident that you will fix those bugs!

This is because Spawn Particle On End doesn't currently work in latest revision.

Bloodthirsty squirrels eat bodies in latest revision. I fixed that bug some revisions ago where SetTargetToWideBlahID no longer worked.

I can confirm that magic carpets no longer allow you to mount them for some reason.

This is a collision detection bug. Probably the same one that tis causing things not to stay on top of tables.
