New binary for SVN users (#45)
Moderator: Developers
Okay, this is it. I'm officially annoyed. I've finally got a new GFX card, updated my copy of Egoboo to r722 and binary #32 and used the setup.txt from the SVN, and still can't get the game to run properly. To the contrary, it's now even worse!
Additionally, the menu now runs at pretty exactly 0 FPS. I couldn't even get to the module selection screen that way, it simply wasn't possible.

Yay new GFX card
Okay let's begin from step 1.
- I have a binary I compiled 1 minute ago here that you might try out (compiled from r722) . That binary runs fine on my PC. I use a NVIDIA card.
Binary download: http://www.2shared.com/file/7414979/fe9 ... boo2x.html
- If that didn't make any difference and what Aleco above says is correct, try out the latest stable release and see if that one runs properly.

You people can't read apparently, he's using Microsoft's OpenGL based on 1.1 using software rendering...
Clonkinator: what gfx card is it?
EDIT:
Works fine with me, ~30 FPS in Zippy, 20 FPS in Bishopia.
Using ATI Radeon 9550 Pro with Mesa 7.4 and DRI R300 20060815, OpenGL version 1.3 (some of 1.4 and 1.5)

Will test now
Well I guess there is no wonder that he is having problems then. I wonder why it uses a different version of OpenGL than when he is running the stable release. Was it after 2.7.4 that birdsey implemented the debugging routines on all the OpenGL functions? There might be a connection there.

It was after 2.7.3 but before 2.7.4, test results are aboveZefz wrote:Well I guess there is no wonder that he is having problems then.
