Only 8 Characters permitted?

Well, my Gnome simply disappeared when I got my Wizard.

Which version is this? In some version they added that you could scroll characters and have more space for people.
But if scrollwheel doesn't work for you then I don't know what would've happened.

Yeah I tried scrolling and nothing happened, then I deleted One character and the gnome returned, but I lost one character

Actually there should be no character limit... it sounds like just an annoing bug. Is the G'nome still in your Egoboo player directory?

yeah, that's how I made it, I deleted the character from there

Indeed. It's still in your players folder though, so if you want to use it, just move another characters out of the folder, or wait for the mythological new release.

iirc, only the 1st 8 are displayed, no matter how many you have.

Just move your less important characters to an archive directory. 8 characters are enough to have one character of every standard class plus one secret character. If you want to play the additional characters, move another one of your "active crew" out and insert the other one from the archive directory into your "Egoboo/Players" file.
