What looks best?

What looks best? When characters conform to hills like a chair or not? Egoboo has before always not conformed characters to hills so they would always stand upright.

I say without because it looks more realistic generally. In real life when you climb on hills with such angles(like on pictures) you lean forward to keep balance unless the angle is rather low and if it's low angle it's rather irrevelant change. Also... Jumping from hills looks kinda weird... (see zippy with wizard for example).

I like the first one. It just looks better, I think.
The second one looks awesome, but just too wierd.

If we ever include the inventor, there could be mag boots that could let you climba walls and conform to textures in this way? That would be awesome! :)

That's a very cool idea. It wouldn't disturb normal game where it is too odd to keep and in addition it would be an interesting item.

I hate to break it to you, but I'm pretty much leaving the Inventor in beta stage. I'm horrible with code in general, and I don't know how to make good textures. But that WOULD be cool. Maybe as a G'nomish tool?

Spoiler: Why I'm really abandoning the Inventor
Because there's really no place for him. He's a multiclass with no special abilities and horrid stats, as opposed to what he can do. He's a G'nome with Human stats. If only I could find a place for him...Like maybe he could hack into enemy tech stuff...

Spoiler has been spoiled.. also, just because you're not working on it doesn't mean nobody else will take up the project.

...Oh, you weren't kidding? Seriously, it's a half-done project that has no evidence of ever existing. I don't think anyone will even THINK of it. Ever. In fact, could someone please put it in the SVN before it's lost to time forever?

Well, it's also in your signature. And I downloaded it, maybe I could try something.

I downloaded your inventor stuff. Didn't you have a version where the inventor was in an environmental suit?

[edit]found them, they were woodmouse's![/edit]
[edit]added the inventor to the GOR. check out the 4th skin[/edit]

1. Yes, they were woodmouse's.
2. Thanks!
3. Incase you need ideas, I was thinking of making a blade-shooter of some sort (fired highly sharpened metal disks; firing power can be charged by holding the "fire" button), as well as some sort of 4-wheeled jeep/buggy, and a gun that would arc energy towards the nearest enemy (regenerates over time).
