Re: Dream Eater PnP - Rules of Engagement
Sorry for the missed round, or rather, that you were probably waiting for me. I was just not sure how to best have Surlak support Natalia's approach.
Standing around quietly is probably better anyway than what I had in mind, these situations aren't my forte.

Don't forget that even if you don't think your character should do anything in particular in a situation, you can always describe their reaction and feelings about what's going on. ;)

In this situation it'd be interesting to know if we're still carrying those lilies.

Do we want to fight? I have a plan that would ideally secure us much nicer odds, but I'm not going to go through if we're not both on board.

I also have a plan, and sent you a PM. Brief me.

Re: Dream Eater PnP - Rules of Engagement
I have nothing to add. In retrospect my previous turn actually adds a lot to the scare as is.
EDIT: Added anyway.

Re: Dream Eater PnP - Rules of Engagement
I had a dream where Cime very emphatically did not award any EXP for this encounter. I can't remember the events that lead to this outcome, though.
Re: Dream Eater PnP - Rules of Engagement
I just read the entirety of the old blackhearts to learn about the setting. I'll probably forget the details before they get relevant, but whatever, it was a nice read (and a nostalgia trip to ages of more forum activity).
What I'm likely to keep in mind is that there's trolls, and that crystals shouldn't be messed with (which my character probably has no way of knowing though).

Did you enjoy my succession of truly great and beloved characters that were so good and cool?

It's good that you don't remember the details, because many of the details have changed (for example the locations of some cities). You can think of these games as reincarnations of each other rather than the same setting.octagon wrote:I just read the entirety of the old blackhearts to learn about the setting. The trolls and the deal with the crystals will indeed be present in this one, though.

This belongs here more than anywhere else.
