Spiderman is officially "spider man" I think, but it sounds retarded, it's like if there'd be a lizard man, his name would be lizardman and not lizard man, like potato tortoise is potatototortoise.
Once upon a time, when unicorns roamed the earth...
Huzzah! Have a cookie!
Don't be repelled by the fact that the beginning is cliched and lame, it's on purpose. At the beginning I thought "Why the heck am I supposed to play this crap?", but today it's one of my favourite games.
Three level-ups? Sounds like you skipped all random encounters before - I understand this, as fighting stock RTP enemies without special attacks without even having any tactical options is just plain boring.
And yes, the boss a ridiculous pushover, as it's to be expected for a noob cave. Gust Strike spam+occasional antidote and it's done...
I didn't skip any, that's why I was so surprised.
I went straight from Lv3 to Lv6.
And funnily enough, Gust Strike is complete crap so far. Hilbert does more damage to any enemy with a normal attack than with Gust Strike.
Gust Strike (just like its earth counterpart, Rocksmash) isn't even a magical attack... it is just a physical attack that does wind-elemental instead of neutral damage (but also cannot score crits). It merely exists for exploiting elemental weaknesses, which aren't that rare though, the griffin for example is weak to wind damage.
