Eww, Windows 7.
I have it on my new comp as well, but I'm doing another install and setting up XP instead.

Anyway, I'm not done yet. I had to sort through 40 gB of stuff and delete a bunch of crap, and now I'm putting everything on a usb hard drive.

E: Yes baby! We are done!

Yes it turns out that it's not so bad.
True, there are too many stupid things and it is too nosy in general, but I'll tweak the crap out of it and it will stop. I have already cut the number of processes in half and made the settings my b****.

Why not try the Funny Pictures thread?

@Cimeries: I wouldn't recommend breaking it. I personally would:
-Back up everything
-Set the boot device priority to the CD drive
-Insert a Windows XP disk
-Using the disk, format the hard drive
-Install XP (which takes years, even if I don't starve to death staring at the screen)
-Reinstall EVERYTHING

Laptop's being wiped. I guess one evening without it is worth non-5 minute startup times.

My laptop was wiped today.
I still have my pictures folder (THANK GOD!!) but all my games, other programs and Pivot stuff is gooooone.
I have some stuff on this PC and USBs which shall restore the glorious glory of my laptop.

Hey, guys.
Ask me questions.

A couple of friends and I are going to record a podcast or something and answer a lot of questions.
It was a dumb idea I had.
I love dumb ideas.

...There are no limits as to the sort of questions you ask, except that they must be actual questions.
