Parsee is easy (even on Lunatic!), but she has a trick card that you ought to take care on.
Don't shoot her twin, the one that shoots the big bullets. At all.

Parsee is basically a puzzle boss. She's nasty at first, but after you learned her tricks, she's okay.
I don't play SA on Normal or harder because I don't have much of a chance to even make enough progress to learn something, and I haven't played a single Touhou game ever since I moved to Linux, so my advice probably won't be too helpful, but…
Her “Green-Eyed Monster” spellcard is basically streaming with a Groucho Marx disguise. Plan your movements and don't move too fast, and you won't get cornered.
Grandpa Hanaka is a streaming-like spellcard where you shouldn't get trapped, I don't remember my strategy well enough to say anything else.
Tongue-Cut Sparrow is based on a fairytale
If I remember correctly, Midnight Anathema Ritual can be cheesed by Yukari's wrapping ability, or you can just stay near the middle and go through below the “remnant bullets” after each attack. I'm not sure though.

If we're doing complete walkthroughs now...
In order:

Jealousy Sign "Green-Eyed Monster" (Her Midboss card)
Just go right up to her face and decorate it with your bullets. Her hitbox isn't active in this one, so you can safely touch her. Once the bullets catch up, back away downwards (so your bullets will still hit some more), and only move away horizontally once there's no other way left to go.
If you didn't bother supergrazing Yamame's final spellcard (and thus still have 3 or 4 power), you should be able to finish her within a mere two cycles of this. Even if you did, you should be able to finish shortly after the start of the third.

Grandpa Hanasaka "Jealousy of the Kind and Lovely"
Simply follow Parsee's movements horizontally, passing through the gaps between the "flowers". If you absolutely cannot find a suitable gap, go above her instead.
On Hard and above, the "go above" method is no longer available, as she starts firing into multiple directions simultaneously then, so focus on finding gaps.

Tongue-Cut Sparrow "Hate for the Humble and Rich"
Don't shoot the fake one and this one's simple. The fake one is the one that shoots the bigger bullets.
She'll occassionally switch positions with her fake, so if she stops firing for a moment, do the same to avoid hitting the fake. Only resume firing once you're sure you're going to hit the correct target.

Malice Sign "Midnight Anathema Ritual"
She'll always aim at where you were when she started firing, even if you move away. She'll occassionally re-aim, but this is accompanied by a distinct sound - make sure to take the time to misdirect her aim and you'll have no trouble beating her.
On Hard and above, she'll start firing seven streams at once, arranged roughly into the form of a star. This gives you a lot less room to maneuver, but otherwise the same strategy still works.

That feel when lose your first life right at the end of Prism Concerto and proceed to make way too many dumb mistakes afterward.
Still got to Yuyuko's knife streams though and would have gone to Swallowtail if not for my stupidity. :I
Also, I felt special because I managed to catch Dead Butterfly in the most stupefying way. Those bubbles be crazy.

Here's a cosplay thread that kind of fascinated me.
(It's an archived 4chan thread, but it should be completely SFW; I haven't read all of it yet though)

Not bad.
You also seem to be doing a lot of death-bombing.

@Shade: It's more like I'll die and drop 3 or 4 bombs in one life, and fight bitterly to the end with them the next.

-> 13 Misses
EoSD (and only EoSD) counts deathbombing as misses on the results screen, and you can only have 8 extra lives without continues. Even if you chose to start out with 5 starting lives (resulting in 10 extra lives in total), at least three of those "misses" would have to come from deathbombing.
Which is a good habit, really. Deathbombing is one of the most useful advanced techniques in Touhou. It's better not to get hit in the first place, of course, but if you do get hit and deathbomb by reflex, you'll have a much easier time beating any game in the series.

(This goes as far as me having like 25 listed Misses on Hard lol)

I guess me getting lucky with that was the reason I actually succeeded this time. .^.
