How would you know that without actually rolling for Ditto's result?
The order guy only scored a 5; even with his -5 malus to AGI, Ditto only needs to roll an 11 or higher to not get hit, which has a solid 50% chance of happening.
Also, when in doubt, just look at the spell itself. I made all spells thus far state what stat they target. The general rule, however, is:
- spells that take on a physical form (most damaging spells) target 1d20 ± AGI.
- spells that don't take on a physical form (most debuffs, some specific damaging spells) target 1d20 ± WIL.
- status ailments (poison, paralysis, blindness, silence, these kinds of things) target 1d20 ± FOR.

Going off the same roll, that was...
It was a ramshackle spell I threw together myself, lol. But yeah, I'll use those checks in the future.

You can't guarantee the roll would have been the same if you were doing it with a different thing in mind.
Chaos theory maaaaaaaaaannnnn

That's the thing.
You don't roll for AC. AC is a fixed value.
Thus, you never rolled for Ditto's defense. You might wanna fix that.

lolwut
I like how I made a character focused on MP-expending burst damage, and now the clairvoyants that compose the vast majority of my enemies can completely nullify that strength.
Also, is that path-reading thing a free/minor action, or did he get an extra turn against me?

As I said, that seemed
oddly convenient. They also didn't use it to dodge Cime's attack, presumably because it was much weaker.
Ditto wrote:Also, is that path-reading thing a free/minor action, or did he get an extra turn against me?
It seems to be a reaction ability, meaning it doesn't take up an action and is essentially a free extra move.
Judging from his remaining MP, though, it apparently requires 1 MP to use.

If you're complaining now I'm anticipating civil war after the next fight in Deliverance.
Nothing unfair here, from what I've seen so far, the three of those are going to make an interesting, hard fight, but one that we'll most likely still win, so he got the balance right here. Also I think the one Veles attacked didn't spot him doing it because my move was a pre-emptive surprise attack, whilst Mulok was practically telegraphing his attack.

Unless you throw--
Wait, I'm not gonna give you ideas.

I'm not
really complaining, I'm just saying that this clairvoyance thing seemed like an oddly specific counter to Ditto's spells.
As long as AoD's not making this plainly unfair, I'm fine.
@AoD: Please have Red attack Order Goon 2 with a regular melee attack so that we can go on.

Getting your ambush ambushed is often hard to predict.
@Shade: Guess you're right.
The spell can be used as a minor action a turn after an attack is made on them, and yes, it does cost 1 MP.
I'll do that next time I have time to write a post.

Soon. Important pain-in-the-arse homework must be done... eventually.

The more my character develops into a rude d***, the happier I become.

Lol @ random.org's terrible rolls for my dudes.
(Also, Goon 2 had to pass a check for his reading because he's a rookie, and was panicked.)
