And why does your goddamn Google Docs garbage absolutely refuse to let me put a "+" in front of numbers no matter what formatting I choose and what options I turn off?

You can get around it by doing ="+9777" in the cell; though it becomes a string and not a number

To be fair, I can't seem to get LibreOffice to format numbers with + either Scratch that, I can after looking at the help for LibreOffice
