But that's not the main reason why I use phrases like that, I just like saying "like" and stuff, it's fun. I mean, it's a kind of natural thing, in a way, since "you know, like, it's kind of like, you know, stuff", etc. sounds idiotic, and I'm an idiotic person, so. :P

...assuming you meant me.
Seth wrote:Man, woodmouse, I could not have fabricated a worse response to such a simple, petty post.
You mean that it was rude and you didn't deserve to be insulted so much? That wasn't my intention, sorry, and I didn't try to insult you, but the people who start truly hating people and disregard everything they've ever said because they said "cool" once.
Cimeries wrote:That was just standard Woodmouse procedure.
Ooohh, I have a procedure now? 8) Procedures are cool.

¶ Surely you dun think that I am one of those ‘people.’ I talk to people who abandon punctuation all the time. I dun like it, as it looks careless, which can be a sign about not caring about learning, but I am a bit used to seeing messages without punctuation now, and this may not always impede the crux of the message being sent. It is more about essence, and the surface i’n’t always a good reflexion of the essence.

¶ This applies to ‘cool’ in that I look down on it, but that is hardly sufficient for me to judge somebody. People who have a lack of sympathies, that is something that I judge against.

@Seth: I don't think you're one of those people, but it's possible for people to change, and not all change is for the "better". I mean, of course, it's not my responsibility or fault if people become jerks or something, but it's just... I don't know, a lot of people can be awesome one day and then a month later, they're total passmoles because of something that happened, like, someone's stupidity threw them over the edge, if that's a proper metaphor. :P

This reminded me of the issue of the David Tennant*. Even if you're the 100% straightest guy on the planet, you'll still think he's hot. Seriously, absolutely everyone thinks he's hot, and if someone doesn't, they're either A) asexual or B) David Tennant himself. No, wait, I'm sure he knows about his perfection, which makes even asexuals go crazy.

*Intentional misuse of "the" in front of his name to indicate his superiority over everyone else. Or something.

*Googles*

That guy? He's okay. Well above average, but his face inexplicably reminds me of a baby bird for some reason.

Man, is it normal to get 4 altars in one game of NetHack (not including Minetown)? I've only been down to dungeon level 16 :|

I wish that would happen. I picked the game up again recently and I haven't seen a single co-aligned altar since. :U

The rest were the Minetown ones.

The funny thing was that two of them were temples and then the other two were on the same level :P
Two of the five were co-aligned :|

Today I learned I have a random third speaker (or a broken fourth speaker) that OS X doesn't seem to use?

Shade, I hope you've seen Another.

Everyone else, I hope you decide to watch Another at some point in the near future.

I have.
Not the best anime I've seen by a long shot, but overall not bad.

After marathonning it over the course of a single night, I guess I can see your point. While the writing is good and shock value is maximum, it doesn't really feel like there's much of a point to it.
