Yeah well. Marisa A's a consistent best so far, I don't think I'll be wanting for anything. :P

But these shot types are interesting! :P
There's no clear equivalent of Marisa A in those games. Marisa/Nitori in SA and the laser shot in UFO are probably the closest approximations…
Marisa's laser in TD fails to be a laser in the videogame sense. It doesn't pierce anything.

Yeah, Marisa in TD is once again disappointing. I wonder why ZUN nerfed her lasers, they were, like, her trademark shot type. :/

I've come to love Magic Missile more because of the unholy amount of damage they put out. :P

Magic Missile is better, yeah (except in UFO because of the ungodly amount of random fairy enemies and UFOs often getting in the way), but the lasers are more iconic to her. ;/

I guess that's true.
Sucks how the PCB extra stages force you to use the lasers. :P
Speaking of PCB, I can't tell Sakuya A from Sakuya B apart from the bombs. :0

Whoa, gave MoF a quick shot, and it's pretty damn epic. :D
Those tiny star danmaku sections and the midboss of stage 4 are... troublesome to say the least, though.

Sakuya A has spread shot that becomes homing when in focus. Terribad Cherry + gain.
Sakuya B has spread shot that fires in the direction you're moving in and locks the current aim in place as long as you're in focus. Decent Cherry + gain.

Oh, and MoF? Welcome to bomb spam Touhou! In 10, the best strategy is literally "when in doubt, bomb". Bombing goes from your Power here, but you get new Power pretty much all the time - just avoid dropping below 2 Power (but if it means the difference between life and death, bomb still) and you'll be fine. You can bomb like eight or so times per stage without ever dying, or in fact without having to deal with any consequences at all.

My face when watching the demos on PCB and Reimu A apparently gets the same spellcard as Marisa A from midboss!Youmu (the musical climax as it initiates is so epic it mollifies the fact that I always die for being too far up when she starts her formation :P) but way slower. Screw you, ZUN. .__.

One of the fans on my Facebook page requested a picture of Remilia, so who would I be if I didn't deliver?
Shading's lazy, though.

No, they're the same, actually. The demo always showcases Lunatic, though - I doubt you're playing on that.

Also, nice Remilia there, although I'm pretty sure she's generally depicted as a lot paler than that. ^^

I couldn't notice a difference between the Normal stage 5 and the one I was watching, which is something of a confidence booster. :P

Will people hate me forever to use an EoSD hitbox patch? The inability to properly judge it is frustrating.

@Remi: Huh, you're right. I guess there's a reason you can hardly make out her EoSD portrait features from the glare.

Oh, I'm sure you'll realize the difference in due time. :P

I also use it. EoSD honestly needs a visible hitbox just like its successors - not being able to see your hitbox at all is just fake difficulty.
