Also it looks very cool. :P
So is the adventurer blue-skinned? (judging from edges of silhouette)

You've never heard of art that isn't strictly by the books, have you?

Look it's you!
If you were a chick.
and hot
and wearing hot pants
and drawing on a tablet
at a computer
in the dark
and were messy
and had recently bought a phone
and had phantom sticky-notes
and had creepy premonition
and needed glasses
and had a pomegranate upon your desk.

The GIMP's layout is far too strange. GIMPShop needs an update. :P
And anyway, Paint.NET is by far the greatest image editing program ever.

I'm usededed most to GIMP..
But if the layout is strange, well, then you're not a GIMPy person.

I learnt my trade from Paint through to Photoshop. You think GIMP wouldn't feel strange?
Anyway, it's not that I hate it. It's just harder to work with.

Someone should really come along and make a new cross-FOSS Image Editor. This time listening to the people. GIMP failed because it's potential market were artists, but it was marketed to GIMP users.
In the end, there just needs to be a whole re-write.
Here is a fellow cynic on the matter: http://piestar.net/2009/09/07/gimp-suck ... -tutorial/
