Here's mine, just did some cleaning;
It's usually cluttered with projects and stuff. When it becomes too much, I put stuff in folders. After that, I put the folders inside some more folders.
I'm currently in the third tier.

Here you go.
Games that I've been running frequently recently are being placed at the bottom there, while all the games that I haven't been playing in a while (or only rarely) are in one of the folders at the top. Other than that, important stuff is on the desktop, but I don't care about most of the stuff at the left most of the time.
That's right, I've got two spare characters for PnPs to use!

I'll post mine a little later.
Clonkinator: Heh, whilst coming up with ideas for an RPG, I came up with many good characters. So while I may not have full sheets or anything (a game could use different rules, after all), I have about eleven up my sleeve, not counting Sutekh, Atalya, or three other characters that are the same class as one of the main twelve characters (I know, that doesn't add up; I will explain some time when I get to actually talking about my RPG idea in detail).

Here you are.
1024x768 FTW!
NW: The games I want more available; usually the games I have been playing the most lately, although Nethack is pretty much always there regardless of how much I have been playing it at any given time, because, ya'know, it's Nethack. Egoboo is almost always there, but then, you'd expect that since I play it and work on it so frequently.
I haven't played Cave Story in a while; right now it's just there to taunt me, because I still can't get very far in the Sacred Grounds.
The folder contains many more games: Civilization III, Teeworlds, Iji, Soulfu, Gate 88, POWDER, Mabinogi, other graphical versions / variations of Nethack, etc.
SW: These are non-game (though some are game-related) applications; the ones out are the ones I use most frequently. Unlike the games, these almost never change. Internet, email, calendar... Stuff I use every day (although admittedly Sunbird has not gotten much use lately). The other ones I don't use every single day, but they're still used pretty frequently (I use GIMP almost daily for some thing or another).
E, N to S: Notes, obviously. I'll put stuff there to remind me to do specific one-time tasks, but I also use it to keep track of my ongoing projects so I don't spend too much time on one thing and neglect another (which usually happens anyway, but meh).
Computer; I don't think I need to explain that.
Stuff that is incoming (e.g. scanned pictures, photographs from my camera) or outgoing (e.g. files to be / that were copied to CD, stuff to be / that was printed).
My Game Maker work. Lot's of stuff in there, since I rarely finish games.
My brother's files. Mostly drawings of his or random cool pictures he found on the Internet.
Random, random stuff, including: BenUrban's ttyrec of the cram ration game; lots of stuff I zipped before uploading somewhere and tossed in here; temporary files -- every time I try to write something for Eternal Autumn I am always interrupted and have to save my posts here; example theme for 5234's game that I still haven't built anything off of; Tyrian 2000, which is waiting for me to get Dosbox; tons of other unsorted stuff.
Don't really need to explain this one; it's a shortcut to the folder all the Egoboo stuff is in.
"Virtual Plankton Kleptocracy." Chiptunes in here.
As you can see I'm fairly organized.
Oh, and yes, that desktop image is my own work... I took a photograph of a building, then recolored it and sent it through some filters.
Kinda weird, but I like it. It's been up there for a while though so I might change it soon.

I actually like Mac as well as Linux. So be quiet, you.Maxaxle wrote:Ooh, what OS? That's pretty nice!
EDIT: Oh, it's Linux. IMO, Linux>Mac because Macs usually suck BALLS, though Windows OS's were never known for their overall stability .
Anyway, a interesting power I have:
