I Haz A Problem D;!

Im new to this forum, but not to egoboo
and i like to tell you bout' this problem i have
i have finished both the elf and the soldier module
but when i save and try to start the saved game
this error appears

Oh, that is a corrupted save file bug we discovered ages ago. I don't know the particulars, but someone else should be able to help you out. :)

Don't count on being able to do that, these latest versions have been uberbuggy.

Using the latest SVN binary should fix it, but I dunno if it needs anything else from the SVN itself

I think it needs the new font file, but other than that it should run fine and fix a hundred or so bugs :P

well downloaded the new SVN
and extracted it to my egoboo folder (was it there or somewhere else ?)
and now the new Svn.exe
gives me a error, is ask for a font
"mp_data/bo_chen.ttf" to be more exact

Well, now i can get on the svn.exe
but it sends the same message as the normal game
its ok, i dont want to bother, just keep this bug in mind
and try to fix it

You need to redo the starters to get a new player as your old one is broken.

I'm having the same issue as the other person...

After following all the steps outlined here, I'm still confronted with the same error. Furthermore, I looked inside the data.txt file and found that it was completely empty - a file size of 0 KB. I even reinstalled the game and deleted my save information to start anew - it was no help.

This is what I got when I tried to load the file.

We should get 2.6.8 back up, that was the most recent release I really had fun with, the only bug was XP loss was broken! :D
