I'm pretty sure you don't have enough PP for Tiltja, but if you want to use Tiltga, by all means, go ahead. Your SP are limited, so making good use of them is one of the things that'll win you a battle.
Characters "revived" this way will only get to act next turn, though.

As much as plotless PnPs make for quick and easy action, they don't seem to have the lasting potential well-thought-out ones do. :?

It's not plotless, the plot is just incredibly silly.
I probably shouldn't have given you the option to avoid it like the plague, though.

AoD, it would be more obvious to you if you were familiar with old jRPGs' tendencies of limiting the plot to cutscenes and boss battles, and keeping the random battles separate from it.

Let's try defeating those orcs, and if they cream us again, escape and indulge in the storyline.
