Still? I'm not writing or drawing anything much recently, so I may pick up where we left off. Writing romance is kinda boring.Shade wrote:Just know that I'm ready to continue this whenever.

I know, Deus Ex Machina of the gods, but I'll explain next post.

Sorry, I've got a massive headache right now. I'll try to come up with a decent post tomorrow.

That's fine, not much you can do about that.

Re: [RP] The Twilight Project - Characters and Talk
I didn't mean to make Alice's thingy seem so useless - I wanted to give the impression that the thing was a lot more susceptible to magic than physical damage, hence Alice actually giving Ashley a chance to strike.
I'll post during Science, when I'll have time to write.

I know, I did understand what you were implying. However, naturally she'd be disappointed that a sphere roughly ten times the size of her usual "magic" was no more effective than usual, even if the target she was aiming at easily was ten times stronger as well.

Re: [RP] The Twilight Project - Characters and Talk
Maybe my headache is to blame (yes, I'm having a lot of those lately), but my mind isn't really following what's going on right now.
How many completely new people are there on the cart? I want to say "two", but you haven't really given much of a description of them, so I might be trying to tell apart the same person into two.

Re: [RP] The Twilight Project - Characters and Talk
Spoiler: Character sheet for Glen
Name: Glen Shadestone (Major NPC)
Gender: Male
Age: 21
Weapon preference: Magic - traditional summon-casting.
Appearance: Glen is about six feet and three inches (187.5 centimetres, roughly). He has slightly tanned caucasian skin, chocolate brown hair that is straight and basically conforms to the shape of his head, with golden brown eyes. He usually wears crimson red robes on top of a dark grey shirt, a leather belt, dark reddish-brown pants and brown leather boots. There are bright red runes inscribed around the sleeves and trim of the robes, which channel magic for him.
Personality: Glen is a fairly wise person for his age, as a result of his significant aptness in the field of magic. He is quite a positive thinker, generally, and likes to work out optimal solutions to problems - being rushed is not his idea of a good way to start something, but it doesn't cause him to lose his cool. He is something of a charmer with most of the ladies around his hometown, Garith, but hasn't really bothered with much intimate relationships in the past. He isn't above doing whatever he feels like if it's something that he likes, which... brought... him and Ashley Kennsford together once in the past. He was quite impressed with her aptitude in that field, but didn't particularly pursue her friendship, not wanting to lose face. As a result, he is somewhat partial to her affairs. Recent events may have convinced him to truly take her side.

Interpret 'can't tell you' as 'don't know', he wasn't meant to seem like he was hiding anything.

Re: [RP] The Twilight Project - Characters and Talk
I just realised since you're sleeping my post ends at a really bad point. Feel free to advance time by a degree of 'Tom arrives with stuff, he and Glen leave, and then Ashley heads for some sleep', or I can just write some more.

Yeah, unless you want me to make something happen right now, it'd probably be good if you'd continue a bit more.
