I do like this ruleset. I don't think there's anything wrong with fairness or balance in rulesets as long as you don't have to make monsters that could easily destroy the entire party except for one member so they'd still have a challenging fight, or on the other hand, another Carlita.

Re: [PnP] Legacy of Darkness (Talk)
It has come to my attention that our character sheets have been f***ed by the forum upgrade. Any solutions, guys?

Check the general forum every now and then.
Zefz said he'd look into it. He already found a pretty good spoiler tag, too, it seems.

-Tear in Chakra-
Tal can break the cycle of health and death at times, healing them even when not even conscious or when already at their full capacity for health. Every turn, a d20 is rolled. If this rolls a 20, Tal breaks the cycle for that turn, and his heals can affect people at 0 HP and heal people as far over max HP as possible. The overhealed HP remains even after the turn ends. Tal cannot continue to overheal that target until he rolls a 20 again.

What's the point of having a HP/MP limit if you can just infinitely heal beyond it?Ditto wrote:-Tear in Chakra-

Besides, how does it even make sense to be at better than perfect health?
I will not allow any character's HP to exceed twice their maximum at any point even with this ability. So you can heal someone like Helena to like 90/45 HP if you happen to get a bunch of lucky rolls, but not beyond that.
Furthermore, any HP beyond the maximum are lost once the affected character rests.
I'd also rather only do this check when you actually try to heal something, instead of every single turn.
105 AP for my version.
I don't know when I'll continue this PnP, though. I kinda lost track of everything in this long pause, and I'm incredibly annoyed by the forum upgrade completely messing up the code in my posts.

I hope it goes on. I was really looking forward to being able to do something with Ell.
It'd be nice if the other guys would actually POST every once in a while...
