Pardon me for not acting adultly, it's these frickin' arguments everywhere I turn where my point of view isn't even considered before people go and argue a different point or just start being an asshole that gets me so damn angsty/stupid/reckless! Sometimes I think that some of the older guys on this forum need a bit of humility... To accept where they've gone wrong (don't call me a hypocrite, you guys are worse than me most of the time) and maybe stop acting superior for once.

I know all that well enough, but I'll be damned if I'm not going to try though.Ditto wrote:As much experience as you and Cime have, AoD is the one who is in charge of the PnP, which means it's not your place to argue with him to change the rules, even if you are right.
After all, this argument is done to a certain end, and that end is to make this goddamn PnP better in some way.
Edit: As far as I can see, Clonks was in no way trying to put himself above you. He could have approached it more tactfully ("Suggested cost: x" was a pretty bad move, I'll admit), but you have to admit that experience is worth something. After all, you'd rather have a doctor treat your wounds than a "medical enthusiast" or someone with good grades in chemistry etc.
Edit edit:
This is a bit of scab picking I'm about to do here, but if you can't get your own emotions and temper in check when confronted with a different point of view, that is entirely your fault and your own problem to deal with. Other people don't need to be subjected to your mood swings and "give you a break" for them. I occasionally deal with the same recklessness you described, but I never expect people to ignore it. It's my fault that I act this way. If your logic is faulty then it is faulty.that gets me so damn angsty/stupid/reckless!
Worse how?Sometimes I think that some of the older guys on this forum need a bit of humility... To accept where they've gone wrong (don't call me a hypocrite, you guys are worse than me most of the time)

Yeah, that point was referring to in general, not specific to this argument...
I suppose you're right, though.
Anyway, let's play. I like getting to challenge my list of adjectives once in a while.

By the time Oink picks James up and throws him, James would have already set himself free twice. If he is caught, held, or bound in some way, he can always set himself free using either one primary action or two secondary actions.
Bam. I win.
Anyhow, playing a crazy dude is a bit of a last minute call as you can clearly see. I recently remembered the first time I tried RPing an insane character, and how it didn't go well. I decided to try it again, now that my storytelling is a notch better, and with a more entertaining brand of insanity.
