Oh, then blink is only 135 AP.

Yes, you can attack twice in a row. That's why HP is at least 40 and there is a health regen of 1 for every turn of combat, the weakest possible character can survive two non critical attacks from the strongest possible character.

Bonecrusher: Only 40 AP with the free hand.

Sorry cime, you actually have 105 hit, and 55 avoid. They're still halved, clonky.

Image
Lucius Fern, Lv1 [00] (Front)
48/48 HP
16 Atk | 105 Hit | 29 Crt | 55 Avd
Morningstar (6[x2] Atk, -10 Hit, 5 Crt, 1h)
Spoiler: Inventory & Status
Items (0/6):

Kinomancy:
[10/10] Sketch [100 AP]
Luke can create and dismiss at will magical visual illustrations, graphs, charts and so forth of any concept or idea that he is familiar with.
When used while devising a course of action for a task (such as planning a route through enemy territory, or discussing how to engage the enemy), successful completion of the task will award (Knowledge x 10) percent more exp than it would otherwise (for everyone nearby). Currently exp will be scaled to 130%.

[6/6] Blink [135 AP]
Luke can cover short distances of about 15 meters in an instant so long that they are visible to him. In combat, Luke can expand two uses to attack anyone in any row as if they were both at the front for the duration of the attack, and instantly return to his place.
Blinking in itself is considered a free action.
Blinking as a combination with an attack uses one Major and one Minor action.

Abilities:
- Ballistics [125 AP]
Luke adds his Knowledge modifier to weapon Atk when fighting with physical weapons (things like energy or magic weapons are excluded). Currently 3.

- Bonecrusher [40 AP]
When wielding a one-handed weapon with nothing in the off-hand, the weapon's base Atk is doubled.

Stats:
+1 STR
+3 DEX
+1 AGI
-3 END
+3 KNO

Technological Skills:
+2 Combat Tools
+3 Special Tools
+5 Engineering
+0 Medical

Story:
Gifted with a moderate amount of magic, Luke was what is commonly referred to in Axedes as an "arcane scientist", one who studies both science and magic and the relationship between them. Particularly, Luke's area of expertise is Physics and Motion, and the way Magic can alter and obscure its laws.

Becoming bored of his daily routine he decided that he wanted to leave Axedes and study the rest of the world, only to end up accidentally uncovering a massive conspiracy plot and being exiled.
He got what he wanted, it's just that he got too much of it, It seems that he will have the chance to observe first hand the interaction between the earth, gravity and his poor brittle frame.

Luke strives to appear calm and calculated, but he has a very short temper and tends to act before he thinks things through properly, and trouble seems to follow him whenever he goes. He has a black morningstar silhouette, about the size of his index finger, tattooed on the back of his right hand.

Misc.:
AP left: 140
Pretty much ready to play. Just want to spend my last 140 AP.
Cimeries wrote:(regarding Bonecrusher) What if the Crt bonus (from the weapon) was also affected (doubled like the Atk)?
If that isn't allowed, how much for a flat +10 HP bonus?

65 AP instead of 40 for crt bonus, 150 AP for free HP (I know, I'm crushing your dreams.)

I've already got the beginning in notepad, so tell me when you're ready.

Screw it, I'm starting. You won't be fighting for a little bit, anyway.

Two players is enough to at least not make my healing spell worthless. I'm ready when you are.

Ditto wrote:Blink: You mean two blinks in a major action and a normal action? 250 AP, sorry, but that's a little much.
It doesn't look thaaaat extreme to me. "for attack purposes", reads for me like it's basically similar the Sudden Thrust ability Stul'p had. It could be overpowered if used for something else than warping forth and back, though.

Don't worry, I'll give you a party of at least four at first. At least before you get off Axedes...

I do, but it took Tessa a moment to realize why he did that.

How do you know he isn't actually good because I knew you would think he was bad? How do you know he isn't actually bad because I knew you would know I knew you would think he was good because I knew you would think he was bad?

It's your judgment call. There's no reason for him to bother trying to trick you into thinking he's going to save you, though, you're already going to die otherwise (or so your characters think.)

I'll post a little later.

Well, at this moment in time I see nothing preventing me from blinking into solid ground right before I crash. That's why I'm paranoid.

Trusting or not trusting, you can hit the ground alive, although one way will be harder than the other. :D It won't be what anyone expects, though.
