Sir Oinkley picks up the cigar and smokes it in an attempt to look badass, but discovers that it only made him cough up smoke, and angrily throws it into the cursed sink along with all of the bottle caps. He also collects the casino chips and moneyz for the group, laughs at gaunt for not getting any xp, and checks out the bookcase in the dogs room for anything nifty.

Inventory [6/7]:
+ Lockpick [2]: HIT chance of working. The Avd of the lock indicates its strength.
+ Newt Sandwich (heals 3 to 6 HP for Stul'p)
+ Simple Sling [Atk 2| Hit 50| Crt 5] shoots small things
+ 3 Shuriken [6 Atk, 60 Hit, 15 Crt]

Rock Bag (for stones and other small things)
+ 10 sling stones [Atk 1 | Hit 20 | Crt 3]

Skills:

Theft [x/3] [110 AP]
Instead of attacking, Stul'p can steal a random item from an enemy, including equipped ones. Success chance equals that of an unarmed attack. Crt "scans" the enemy inventory and steals an item of choice.

Sudden Thrust [x/5] [120 AP]
Stul'p quickly switches to the front row, attacks from there and directly jumps back again. The drawback is, that while he thrusts, he suffers -10 Avd and his defense is reduced by 2.

Abilities:
Sneaky Strike [200 AP]
Stul'p's natural crit value is doubled. Also, his critical hits (of attacks, not of things like stealing) poison the enemy, because he is such a sneaky guy.

Background:
Stulp grew up as a newt hunter in the hubbin village of Fruggle, happy despite never having heard of his mother. But he always knew that there was something... different about him. His face looked a bit... shady sometimes, and unlike other hubbins, he didn't really prefer the peace and quiet of the village but rather ran around as a wannabe rogue, stealing everything he could grab and later, also ambushing people, knocking them out, robbing them and saying horrible things into the ears of the unconscious. When dark elves attacked the village (half the hubbins being killed, half being enslaved and treated cruelly, and his father running away), he suddenly knew about his Drooven origin and decided that his actual name must be Stul'p znu Rilfnif... or so.
Since then, he roamed the lands, stealing things and causing nightmares everywhere. One day, he joined the cult of the Worshippers of the Blob of Groltu and became a stalwart stalwart of Groltunism.
His life was horribly changed when he was captured by thugs of Deucce Baaj, who used him as a doormat for his minions (no, not literally... well, okay, sometimes...) until the Lich Lord noticed the amount of stuff that his henchmen were missing and found the secret hideout of Stul'p. He realized the potential of the hubbin-droow and used him for emptying the pockets of the foolish intruders who dared entering his realm.
Skills:
Knee Kick[3/3] [90 AP]
Stul'p kicks against an enemy's knee, probably causing severe pain. This is a normal unarmed attack, but works from the back row and also causes a random reaction:
20%:Dazzles enemy for 3 turns
20%:Kicks enemy to the ground, stunning them for 2 turns
20%:nothing special happens
20%:certain crit
10%:Stul'p strains his leg and loses 2 HP
5%:permanently reduces enemy's Avd by 10
5%:instantly causes an attack from the kicked enemy

Traits (I can't have traits anymore, so this will count as an ability if possible and if I want it)
Gourmet [30 AP]
Stul'p can be healed a bit by eating so-called comestibles.
"Win!
Those dogs were angry folk...
What about throwing the bottle caps into the sink? They don't seem valuable of useful to me. The poker chips could also do the work, but I like to play a game every now and then...
Also, I take the Shuriken as my reward for my great achievements in battle. NINJAAA POWEEEERS FOR ME!!"

No XP for the sink puzzling before?

None

Spells:
[3] Spark Wave [115 AP]
[Base: 8 Atk, 100 Hit, 10 Crt]
[Curr: 14 Atk, 100 Hit, 10 Crt]
Hits all enemies with lightning, possibly also paralyzing them for 2 turns (25% chance per target).

[3] Healing Stream [120 AP]
[Base: 10 HP / 0 HP]
[Curr: 16 HP / 6 HP]
Focuses the curative power of the earth on an ally, healing it by [10 + INT] HP. Can also be aimed at the entire party, but only heals each target by [INT] HP when doing so.

Abilities:
- Counter [185 AP]
Shade is very skilled at fencing, knowing how to utilize every single chance to attack. If he successfully dodges a melee attack, he instantly counter-attacks with a melee attack of his own.

Traits:
- Swift [15 AP]
Shade is very agile and perceptive, making it rather easy for him to anticipate attacks and dodge them. Adds +5 to Avd.

Stats:

06 INT
04 SKL
10 AGI
06 CON

Story:
Shade has a kinda rough past to show, so he eventually sought dispersal by becoming Deucce Baaj's employee, as fighting hero-wannabes and all that stuff sounded pretty cool. And it actually kinda is, if it wasn't for the fact that the payment just outright sucks and no-one likes the bad guys. So, after all these years, he finally decides to break free again and reclaim his freedom in an attempt to start a new life.

Shade is a tall man in his early twenties. He tends to be overly cynic and grumpy at times, but that's kinda to be expected if you're discontent with your employer. If he for once is in a good temper, however, he's actually a pretty nice and trustable guy, if somewhat arrogant.

"Well, I warned them, didn't I. Now, onwards to more important things. This cost us some time; we ought to hurry up and make some progress."
Shade takes the playing cards, annoyed by the fact that the cigars are useless to him and everything else has already been taken.
"Hmph. You're taking the chips, but not the cards? What the heck do you want with just the chips?"
He then turns towards Stul'p.
"Yeah, take the throwing stars. I obviously don't need them, and I doubt Mr. Porc over there would achieve anything even just remotely useful with them."
He then waits for the others to drain the sinks and remove the barrier hindering their progress.

5. K 14 - Dogs playing cards...
As you empty your pilfered canine booty into the sinks, the liquid vanishes completely. You are now looking at two completely dry sinks. You can also finally make out what was inside of them. In the center of each, just where one would expect a drain opening, is a single shiny metal band decorated with red jewels. Each band sits vertically, facing you. Beckoning you to take it.

Examining the books in the game room, among such fine titles as "Fur! Fashion Tips for the Trendy Canine", "Catching the Elusive Tail", "Woof!" and, of course, the award winning "How to Speak Like a Human, and Sound Smugly Superior Doing It", you come across something interesting: It's a crude, thin, old book, with nothing on the cover but large, crude letters spelling out "X X V". Flipping though the pages, you realize that they are all empty, with the sole exception of one of the pages, almost near the end. That page has a picture of Gaunt in it, nothing else.
Wait, what?

+ A wall with doors and barriers blocking your path.
___+ Metal Doors flanking the mysterious sinks.
___+ Aforementioned mysterious sinks. Now dry. Contain shiny metal bands in the center.
___+ Transparent Barriers, now paper thin.

+ Dog Lounge, lot's of dog books.
___+ The strange book marked "XXV"
Quick Recap: Our Heroes of prophecy met up with Gaunt, a depressive iron golem assassin-wannabe of prophecy. After sampling his delicious cooking, they have formulated a heist to steal the valuable mystery artifact of prophecy at the very bottom of the dungeon and confront Deuce Baaj with it. There seems to be a hero invasion going on in the upper floors, and there were also some dogs that were rather rude to our heroes, so they played football with them.
A barrier of some odd substance was standing in the way of our protagonists, but now that they have figured out thee workings of the weird sinks (almost), they will soon be able to move on.
Also they found a book that is completely empty but has a picture of Gaunt in it near the end. How conveniently suspicious.

And now we continue our regularly scheduled program:

When Gaunt is faced with Shade's query, his reply is quick and to the point.
"Asdaf!"
Erm... not exactly the answer you were waiting for, but Gaunt quickly comes to his senses and provides another:
"Ehrmhrm... I don't really remember, but it was mentioned in that book I have in my room. This book is important, it has something to do with the artifact. I think I'm in it because I have something to do with it too, but I can't remember anything... Maybe the book is just teasing me... Boo..."

The barriers are now paper thin, hopefully harmless to pass through, and the sinks are now empty of the liquid that was in them. The sinks do, however, still contain shiny metal bands decorated with red jewels, elevated on a teeny-tiny pedestal above the bottom of each sink, where one would expect to find a drain opening.

Loot:
A Tome - "XXV" (4 Wt | Unidentified)

As you snatch the tome, you notice something about it: The metal frame on the middle of the binding has a small loose end. You pull it slightly to reveal a lens, like a spyglass, attached to the inside of the frame with a sturdy chain.

Gaunt touches the tome, wanting to pick it up and examine the new discovery, but instead the tome vibrates violently and pushes Gaunt away from it. Gaunt looks extremely confused and disappointed, like a dog denied of its treat.

Stul'p attempts to liberate a band from atop its small pedestal with his claw, but even with the clever lever motion of his claw, he is still too weak to detach it. It seems to be built into the sink. What purpose could it possibly have?

Shade lifts an eyebrow.
"You don't know? How can you not know whether you know someone or not?"
He then takes a closer look at the book.
"XXV... Twenty-five, eh? Could be a reference to floor twenty-five. Let's take it there while we're on it."
After the scene with Gaunt, Shade adds:
"Looks like that book doesn't like you. Or it could possibly be connected to that picture of yours inside it. Shall we give it a try?"
Shade takes the tome and rips the page with Gaunt's picture on it out.
"Meat guy, do your little friend over there a favor and smash that sink so that he can claim his shiny stuff."

Spoiler: Info
Location: Dog Lounge - Deucce Baaj's Dungeon - BF24
Time: Pfft, like you need that here.
Gold: 487

Points of Interest:
+ Stairs up to BF23

+ A wall with doors and barriers blocking your path.
___+ Metal Doors flanking the mysterious sinks.
___+ Aforementioned mysterious sinks. Now dry. Contain shiny metal bands in the center.
___+ Transparent Barriers, now paper thin.

+ Dog Lounge, lot's of dog books.
Despite your very best attempts, you cannot rip the page from the book. The damn thing won't even wrinkle or fold properly, even though it's made of what seems to be completely mundane paper.
Oddly enough, holding the book in your hands makes your thoughts clearer. It is very easy to concentrate with it in your possession.
Shade: +5 exp for bravery/stupidity/roleplay.

After failing to remove the picture of Gaunt from the tome, he gives it back to Stul'p.
"Interesting... I'd try burning it, but I'm afraid I don't know any fire magic. ...for the time being, let's just keep the thing away from Gaunt."
He then approaches the sinks and watches Stul'p's doing.
"If you can't get it out, smash the damn thing."

28/89 Wt
Theft [3/3]
Sudden Thrust [4/5]
Spoiler: Inventory & Status

Pilfered Rubbish and Stolen Junk:
+ Lockpick [2]: Unarmed HIT chance of working. The Avd of the lock indicates its strength. [2 Wt each]
+ Newt Sandwich (contains a preserved dead newt, heals 3 to 6 HP for Stul'p when eaten) [3 Wt]
+ Shuriken [3] [6 Atk, 60 Hit, 15 Crt, 3 Wt each]
+ Immaterial Token of Pizza: Proof that Stul'p likes Pizza. Cannot be lost or discarded. Useless. Since empty abilities would block a slot in this ruleset and wasted slots are no fun, it is an immaterial item instead. [0 Wt]

Rock Bag (for stones and other small things) [1 Wt]
+ Empty emptiness [not usable, removed once something else is put into the bag, 0 Wt]

Skills:

Theft [x/3] [110 AP]
Stul'p steals a random item from an enemy, including equipped ones. Success and critical hit chance equal that of an unarmed attack. Crt "scans" the enemy inventory and steals an item of choice.

Sudden Thrust [x/5] [120 AP]
Stul'p quickly switches to the front row, attacks from there and directly jumps back again. The drawback is: while he thrusts, he suffers -10 Avd and his defense is set to 0.

Abilities:
Sneaky Strike [200 AP]
Stul'p's natural crit value is doubled. Also, his attacks' critical hits poison the enemy with [SKL]% poison, because he is such a sneaky guy. [Curr: 10% poison]

Traits:

Stats:

WIS: 0 (1 Ability)
INT: 6 (2 Skills/Spells)

Background:
Stulp grew up happily as a newt hunter in the hubbin village of Fruggle. He was not completely like other hubbins. His face looked a bit... blueish sometimes, and unlike other hubbins, he considered the peace and quiet of the village 'boring' and rathered to run around as a wannabe rogue, stealing everything he could grab and later, also ambushing and robbing people. When dark elves attacked the village (third of the hubbins being killed, another third being enslaved and treated cruelly, and the rest preparing a secret uprise), he suddenly got the idea how nice it would be to be like them. Instead of supporting the defenders of his village, he grabbed the most valuable stuff of the village and fled.
Since then, he roamed the lands, pillaging houses and robbing everywhere. One day, he joined the cult of the Worshippers of the Blob of Groltu and became a stalwart stalwart of Groltunism.
His life was horribly changed when he was captured by thugs of Deucce Baaj, who used him as a doormat for his minions (no, not literally... well, okay, sometimes.) until the Lich Lord noticed the amount of stuff that his henchmen were missing and found the secret hideout of Stul'p. He realized the potential of the jive hubbin and used him for emptying the pockets of the foolish intruders who dared entering his realm. Sadly, Stul'p could not keep much of the stuff he looted...
On the quest against Deucce Baaj, he hopes to regain the things that he once had stolen, but were given to Deucce Baaj's minions.
Skills:
Knee Kick [x/3] [90 AP]
Stul'p kicks against an enemy's knee, probably causing severe pain. This is a normal unarmed attack, but works from the back row and also causes a random reaction:
20%:Dazzles enemy for 3 turns
20%:Kicks enemy to the ground, stunning them for 2 turns
20%:nothing special happens except the damage
20%:certain crit
10%:Stul'p strains his leg and loses 2 HP
5%:permanently reduces enemy's Avd by 10
5%:instantly causes an attack from the kicked enemy with Stul'p as a target

Jive Dodge [x/1] [40 AP]
Stul'p can once per battle avoid an attack that would normally have hit him.

Poison Lacing [x/2] [45 AP]
Minor action. The next attack from an ally that hits an enemy will inflict [6+Lvl]% poison. [Curr: 7%]
"Uh!"
Stul'p jumps off just in time, just a second before Oinkley hits the sink.
I bet it won't break... :(
Anyway: It's new image tiem. I used a variation of spray shading, much like Cimeries once suggested somewhere.
