My humble greetings!

Post by Pietroschek »

Greetings,

my name is Andrè Michael Pietroschek and I became an Egoboo enjoyer in late 2008. After the first shock and some failures I even continued it, when my Linux got Wine & henceforth more official games running.

Sadly the DEV tools don't work on my install. Maybe later I may design my own scenario.

I liked lumpkins since my elf morphed into one but was caught by one true & vigilant lumpkin... spells ain't guarantees!

I am rarely online and mostly to work. I am nearly always in a hurry when online and am too weak to handle it any better.

My regards

AMP
You just perceived it, I have to call it my life! ;-)

...Here, have another cookie, Pietroschek. :cookie:
And welcome!

It's OK if you're not online very often, it's always nice to have new people, even if they only pop in every once in a while. :)

GNU/Linux is the "only" Linux, blago. There are different distributions of GNU/Linux though.

Hello, have a :teach:, and can you tell me what version of Wine you have and what distribution you are using?

Heh, that's probably because he saw you morph, that's the only way I know them to recognize you.

I use gNewSense.
Well, Andrè, if you want to be a lumpkin, do this:
In ''.egoboo-modules-elf.mod-objects''.
Find -''lumpkin.obj'', copy it.
Move it in''pleyers''
Go in ''pleyers'', and opend the lumpkin.obj
Go in dada.txt. in the second line:
Object slot number ( 0 to 63, don't use twice ) : 16
the '': 16'' must be '': -1''.
Start the game.
Pley with the lupkin in a sity.(don't need to do enything)
Exit and go in ''pleyers''.
Now you have too lupkins: one lupkin.obj and one (neme of the hereo)obj.
Delete the lupkin.obj.
Now you have real lupkin and you don't need book of morph.

Perhaps we should keep game tips out of the Welcome section, Blago?

That could cause some bugs, though, I'd imagine (plus it would be a really lame character to use), since lumpkins are designed as monsters and not player characters.

Has anyone tried playing a grub bug? I can't believe I haven't yet...

Hmm, grub bug playing...
I should do that some time.
We could even make a super-secret fun-class that would be a grub bug!
Haha.. probably not.
