hmm, my sheepie shows that I can attempt to make ranks look like the original.
What do you guys think in relation to the others? Good enough to do some others?

The outline could stand to be thicker. Other than that, looks fine.

I agree. The sheep looks great and fits pretty good as a rank icon.
But I agree about the outline... the other icons have a much bigger one.

It will take about 2 years if I keep up my post rate. But when I'm done with school, I probably will have a. whole. lot. more time to flooood... especially because then I will be 16, which means that I will continue living at my parents' for some more time and won't have to bother much about working.

Or maybe I will claim Strider... I actually have to, since with a friend I am working on a Pen and Paper tabletop RPG system of that exact name.
And striders are cool by any means. But they look sucky and deformed in model viewer, and because these icons are created in model viewer...
Well, we'll see it.

I'm thinking about making mine a blue Bumper Car, and therefore claim it for the time being. What are the lighting conditions used for all of the other icons? And does it matter that I use 1024X768?

How did you import the sheep model into Blender?
If I try to load a .md2 file into Blender, I always get nothing but an empty mesh.

octogon: You gotta turn on texture mode for the view. dunno exactly where it is, but look around at the buttons for the view (the bottom)

Maxaxle, it doesn't matter whether you don't care or not, the rules for custom ranks are that they have to be monsters .
