Remember Me ?
Hi there
well...I don't have a lot of time to spend but if I can help. Since I've disapeared, I've learned the xHTML, CSS, javascript, PHP and mySQL. I'm still not very skilled in making maps, modeling and scripts.

Remember me, too ?
Hi all
Long time, I was just lurking as anonymous, since I stopped coding for Egoboo.
I'm glad that the project is still alive and kicking. I would to thank all these people who contributed to it. I want to send a big "Thank you" to Zefz.
The code has made progress since I left.
Now I'm back and it's remarkable that I still have admin rights at the SF project-page. I feel honored
I don't know if a can be of help at all, but I'll be glad if I could contribute again. I'd like to send my code subbmissions to a admin which then could decide, if it fits or is usable at all. Any ideas ?
Regards Paul aka bitnapper (yes, still the same logon name..)

Whoah, hi!
You won't know who I am; I'm too new. I've been around two... threeish years. And I have the same name as you.
But anyway, it's nice to see you back.
If you have code improvements to share, tell us what they are; we'll probably take just about anything.
But if you just want to show them to someone, PM/email Zefz or Bgbirdsey.

Hi bitnapper Welcome back to Egoboo. I would be very interested in seeing your code contributions. We currently have two source branches on the SVN repository. The 2.6.x branch and the 2.7.x branch. The latter is in heavy development state and is pretty unplayable, while 2.6.x is almost ready as a release candidate (I'm not sure what was/is keeping us from releasing it).

Does quest.txt get written properly these days? If not, that's still a blocker...

I think I fixed it. Haven't heard any complaints since then.
Also I rebalanced the dracolich fight a short while ago. Try re-updating your SVN. I vastly reduced his life regeneration, reduced the amount of disenchants and you can now disrupt his spellcasting when dealing at least 1 point of damage. I think I also reduced his max hp by 10 or so.

I guess I'll be testing that stuff today, then.
