Hello egoboo

Post by AgentX »

hi egoboo. I am a fan of Aaron's games especially SoulFu. I had egoboo for a little while but when I tried putting it in full screen it would have a fatal error every time I tried to play it. I am redownloading it hoping to be able to play it again.

PS-If any of you have free time and want to help make SoulFu better you should join the forums http://soulfu.forumotion.com

I would like to get back to SoulFu someday, but egoboo is my first love...

Have you looked at Aaron's "Lords of Uberdark", yet?

Hey AgentX, I asked Aaron to link his page to that SoulFu forum, and founded it. I just forgot about it some time back...
Hi, though. :)

I have seen the videos of lords of uberdark and it looks awesome! Not awesome enough for me to want to pay $10 for it though

You should check it again sometime. I'm trying to round up some people to work SoulFu again. I, over the past few days managed to put a boss level featuring two red dragons in the abyss.

You linked it up? Nice. :)
Although once you get to the fifth level, the Tomb, the difficulty just explodes. And then there's the Abyss...

The old forums are still accessible at (http://www.violencemedia.com/soulfu/forums), but there have not been any posts there in the the last year! lol... I wonder if it is even possible to sign up there anymore, since John Dick seems to have lost complete interest in maintaining it long long ago.

The soulfu.com site has been dark for a long time, too. And someone unsavory is squatting on some soulfu-related pages (including http://www.violencemedia.com/soulfu/forums/index.php or is that a redirect to soulfu.com?).

Yeah, once the soulfu.com/forums link went down traffic to those forums disappeared completely. Eventually I set up the new forum and told Aaron what had gone on.

It's is possible though if you have the saving version and a group of friends though. You do have to keep going back for dead people though.

Yeah, but if you play well with just one or two your inventory is so stuffed with Wunnups it barely leaves pause. :P

Real men never bother with Wunnups Cups and Life Potions, so that they get the badge of courage.

Welcome. We know about SoulFu, but it's nice to see there are more people playing it than just us.

The badge of courage is such a joke. Who needs to get to level 10 anyway? :P

Absolutely. Being required to constantly run around with less than half HP and no method of healing or revival just to get any points towards courage (and the badge comes with the by far greatest disadvantage of them all to top it off) is stupid. :P
