The core gameplay seems pretty similar.

I just played ragdoll masters. meh. Interesting concept and trivially similar to this game. Once the novelty has worn off (after the 2nd level or so), I realized that the entire "challenge" of the game is completely due to the choice of input method. If you could grab the guy with a mouse, everything would be much easier. Making gameplay difficult by making the input method difficult is not good game design.
It would be much better if it supported joysticks or a mouse. He could also make the game a bit deeper by allowing you to change your doll's stance by doing some kind of button combo.
