A friend of mine likes to listen to this whilst she labours. This one is deliciously mediæval & French !

This is awesome in a weird way, seriously original-sounding, or at least I haven't heard anything like this before. The vocals are a bit annoying, but luckily they're pretty quiet and not too prominent, so it doesn't ruin the song. :P I mean, for some reason the only thing I can think of about the vocals is an Italian guy going through puberty. But otherwise, it's seriously awesome. :o

Various songs I've been listening to recently in no particular order of hearing or awesomeness. You're legally obligated to listen to at least one or two of them by the way.

Weird, Super Mario Galaxy music seems to have magically turned awesome a few years after playing the games. Oh right I'm just an unappreciative jackass

Nice choice. This one's pretty nice, if '70s:

This one is undeniably '70s:

If you haven't watched the movie for this, it's a good track. If you've watched the movie for this, it's an amazing track.

I'm just gonna complain and ask people's opinions about a music-related thing.

Almost every time I tell people that I've never been to any band's gig, even once (apart from my dad's friend's band once, heh (but that was a coincidence in a park)), they'll be like "WTF UR NOT ALOWD TO LIEK THEM MUSICZ IF UR NO GO TO THEM GIGZ". I just don't get it, why does it matter so much? First of all, my ears aren't perfect; I'd probably go deaf even if it was some band that play really quietly, since even just speakers with the volume turned a little more than a quarter will make my ears start ringing. The only way I can pleasantly listen music is with headphones, and not very loud. Now, that's not a problem to me, but everyone else makes a huge deal about it, and really, it's annoying.

Besides, none of the bands which's gigs I'd want to go to ever come to Finland. Well, apart from very few times in the past, but I've never had the opportunity to go there, and I'm kind of glad, since I'd definitely have gone to some, but the whole hearing thing is pretty important. Being deaf would suck.

So, there are always people who ask "What band would you want to see live?", I don't know what to answer, since I'd definitely want to go to at least dozens of bands' gigs but I know that I just can't without feeling uncomfortable at the least and going deaf at the worst... so if I say "none" or something, everyone is like "LOL WTF KILL URSELF U POSER", but if I start listing any, they'll be like "LOL DAT AND DAT BAND WEAR IN FINLAND YESTURDAY" and I have to explain that I couldn't go...

The question is: does it really matter? I mean, am I a worse person because of my hearing and money issues (and social anxiety), which prevent me from "behaving normally" about music? It's my life, and my problem, not those's who complain about it... and thinking logically, it's more likely that they get to go to some band's gig when even just one person doesn't...
