Teeworlds.
www.teeworlds.com
All OSes. I have the actual incomprehendible capability of hosting Egoboo's very own server for this game, so we can all play together. \o/
Try to get in the chat or in contact with me or Ben or someone to catch up with the cute action!

Ooooh. Let's see...
*downloads*
Will edit this post after playing if it's still the last post.
BUMPEDIT: It's original, it's easy to play, it's simple, and it's moddable to the extent that quake was...or so it seems just by playing it...

I say we put up an Egoboo server already.

The Ur-Quan Masters
A good open source remake of a great old game. It has very good story, lots of alien races, quests and its terribly funny at times (gotta love Spathi).

I hesitated a bit if its ok of me to post this or not... but ah well.
Tank Razer
Its a racing shooter game I made. Basically you race with a tank while shooting at others.
Theres various tanks, tweak upgrades and special weapons.
Game has an AI and up to 4 human players can play with splitscreen.

Saw that first one, and it's even got a Wii port. The second one? Look up "Tanked Up". It's a flash game by these uberpro guys at Nitromious (mispelling likely). It's a lot like what you have, except that theirs is in isometric perspective and has a shinier aesthetic, not to mention that shooting stuff is less of a priority.

Indeed Tanked Up has pretty similar idea and better graphics but theyre not exactly the same.
Tank Razer is more complex with customisation, various weapons and combat focus. Not to mention is has splitscreen multiplayer.
I havent seen Tanked Up before by the way.

If you haven't played it for an extended period of time before, I'll just say now that it's racing with vehicles that are inherently hard to race (steering) and have stun cannons.

IN OTHER NEWS, Battlecruiser Millenium. Feels like a simulation, plays like a simulator with sci-fi overtones, but a solid game. If you simply pick a scenario and go with it, you could be shooting stuff, blowing stuff up, flying around, or simultaneously piloting a massive ship and playing a managerial simulation. Anything from "Here's your gun, go shoot those guys" to "Welcome aboard, Commander" is yours for the playing.

It's been up for like three or four years, hasn't it?

IN OTHER NEWS, Ace of Spades is supposedly going commercial for less than $10 (USD) per copy. Eventually.
I think I'm gonna be sick.

Yeah the devs got lazy and stopped updating and the game sucked, but this is some kind of total reboot or something. I'm so exciteeed

Ah.

Also: Street Rod 3. If you've never played the original Street Rod or its sequel, go ahead and do that now. A shame the devs haven't released anything since 2005 (though thankfully the forum is still fairly alive, and the devs DO care).
