Favourite PnP in Egoboo history?
I feel like remembering good times gone by. Which PnPs have you guys had the most fun on (and why, for depth of topic )?
For me, I think either Scytale's PnP or The Arcadia Project - Scytale's had an awesome story and we had awesome characters, and the way Hans ended up murdering Hart in TaP was quite interesting to roleplay.

The Dark Revolution was the one with Hood, Carlita and the rest of the gang, right? That one. It had the best party mood and synergy I can recall.
I'm quite fond of my own Ascent because of the plot I came up with (and only I actually know it ), shame we didn't continue. I'll post the rest of the story and details at some point, no sense in keeping it to myself.
And there's the one that's running now, what's it called? I keep forgetting. I like it for the same reason I like Ascent.

There are so many, it was hard to pick. Playing the most OP character on the team in TDR was indeed good fun.

...heh. I didn't even realize that I've run half of all the PnPs here, and even less was I aware of the fact that half of those had "Dark" in their name.
I actually liked almost all of the PnPs I myself have played, though I have to admit that to this date, I still like Scytale's the best. That's mostly due to Scytale's very own style of running things, which was amazingly enjoyable; maybe some of it was also because my character there was one of the most enjoyable ones I've played. That's not to say I like Kaya best, but I've certainly played much less inspired characters.
I also like the fact that the story was just amazingly dark. I like dark stories which I'm sure you're all aware of by now, so I guess it's just natural that I'd like Scytale's story best.
I have to say, however, that Deliverance is also extremely good and enjoyable so far, and may actually be able to overtake Scytale's PnP on my ranking list, depending on what's to come. I think I'm actually going to vote for this one.
Compared to the two mentioned above, my own ones were all mediocre at best, though I think I did a decent job on the Dark Revolution... ...at least until after rescue of the sacrifice. After that, I apparently lost my inspiration and came up with nothing but complete crap. It was also a bit too combat-oriented, if I may say so myself. While I like combat, too much of it is probably annoying.

Oh, I thought you did that on purpose.Shade wrote:and even less was I aware of the fact that half of those had "Dark" in their name.

Looks like I used to be pretty silly.Cimeries wrote:Oh, I thought you did that on purpose.Shade wrote:and even less was I aware of the fact that half of those had "Dark" in their name.

Scytale's was good because he worked the characters into the story (not that other people don't, but usually it requires shady PMs exchanged by a neutral middleman).

Huh? Why not just send the PM directly?Agent of Dread wrote:(not that other people don't, but usually it requires shady PMs exchanged by a neutral middleman).

That there aren't actual neutral middlemen and I only said that because I was using the word shady (and by proxy a staple of the category shady) to add flava.

Re: Favourite PnP in Egoboo history?
I don't know, because I don't join PnPs, as far as I know. Although I think there was one where I was in, like maybe two years ago or something? Or maybe I planned to, but was too retarded and lazy to actually join it? Seriously I have no idea...
...and the one I started and resulted in UNEPIC FAIL! It's not really needed to say though, since most things I did in 2008-2009 were pretty much fail (not counting the skins I did to Egoboo (and being a retard sometimes (but not failing to be a retard means I'm a pretty fail guy (although I didn't fail at failing (which means I failed (but didn't fail at failing (which means I kind of failed, since I didn't succeed either (omfg there's so many things that need to be put in this (because I fail to make a coherent sentence (when discussing things like this (because I fail at remembering things, so maybe it's natural for anyone to fail at this at that point (or maybe I just fail because I fail at failing at failing (which I failed, if you remember that one incident)))))))))))))

If you're ever bored, you could always read up on all the PnPs we did and then decide which one you liked best from a reader's point of view.
Re: Favourite PnP in Egoboo history?
I re-read them every couple of months, it's actually really interesting.

Some of them are a good read. I've been through the Dark Dawn and Scytale's a few times.
