Just search for "4playerpodcast fortresscraft" and you'll see its faults.woodmouse wrote:Dunno, I watched a few videos on youtube and it didn't seem that much like the same. Not that I'd ever have played Minecraft either, apart from the crap browser thing, but you know, I don't have money or anything, soooo.Maxaxle wrote:Fortresscraft is Minecraft Classic, no way around that, except it sucks.

It seems to be a pretty big update for that type of engine, using a "marching cubes" algorithm to convert the voxels to surfaces. I wonder if the patent on that is still valid?

The alpha for this game is available for like 10 USD, using updates and pricing in a similar model to Minecraft itself. There's evidently a small forum community over there already, and some videos on YouTube too!

Yes, their community is comprised exclusively of crab-people.

If he'd write a book called "How to Become Rich, Famous and Intelligent", in which he would describe his process of becoming rich and famous in detail, starting from when he was gifted with the brain, I'd read it.
Although now that he's rich and respected by everyone, I hope the fish doesn't rise into his head and that all this doesn't cause people to come here and be all "lmfao Egoboo sux"...

Well, considering that was August of last year, and no one has joined (except spambots and Veiva), I think we're in the clear.

Re: New from Aaron Bishop
I tried telling them about SoulFu and Egoboo awhile ago and they didn't seem at all interested. The game itself looks like it's going to be pretty awesome when it's finished though. (Probably because Aaron Bishop is the person making it.) I'm glad he got 20k on kickstarter since he never really got any money for SoulFu.

I paid in good deeds - exchange rates were more favorable at the time.
Re: New from Aaron Bishop
Apologies to the few people who did pay for SoulFu.

Well, Aaron would have done a lot better if he would have kept the window of opportunity to buy the game open for more than one day... lol
I also paid.
