So, I woke up and got on my computer one morning when a totally fake spyware window popped up on my computer, calling itself "xp total security," preventing me from using the internet, and generally f***ing me on that computer. (I'm using another computer right now.) I've tried a lot of various virus scans, so far malwarebytes, superantispyware, avg, stinger, and manual removal so far, but nothing seems to work that well, and I really don't want to have to get a specialist called.
Have any of you guys ever had this virus, and, if so, what did you do to get rid of it? Thanks for the help.

I guess your best option is to grab your s**t and run (i.e backup and reformat).
That's what the specialist would suggest and offer to do anyway afaik.

What Cimeries said.
Or if it's a VERY unknown/new virus, which it seems like because it can't be detected by antiviruses, you could report it in some website (you know, a computer forum or something) and see if anyone could do anything. Of course it's hiiiighly unlikely since I have like 10 "viruses" which aren't really viruses but ACTUAL microsoft programs that just have to be shut off every time opening the computer. That's a possiblity too, you know; microsoft = evil bassturds (at least in Finland).

Re: Virus help?
No, I've looked at other sites, everyone else says it's a virus. Unfortunately, everyone else's solution of running malwarebytes and superantispyware that seems to work for everyone else is, for some strange reason, utterly failing on my computer, to the point where I can actually see the scanner going through files I know have the virus and saying they're uninfected.
Grabbing my s*** and running isn't really an option I want to take until I've hit rock bottom at least three times with the spyware removal.

Re: Virus help?
I never heard of this before... but I searched for this malware and found this article, which says:
This sounds quite plausible, and could probably work. If this is not everyone else's failing solution, it sounds like an option to try if you don't want to grab your s*** and run. Here is how to get rid of XP total security 2011.
#1 Start your computer in safe mode by pressing the F8 key before windows starts. Select safe mode with networking from the menu and then enter safe mode.
#2 Once in safe mode start task manager by pressing the CTRL-SHIFT-ESCAPE keys together and then go to the processes tab. Once in there search for a randomly generate name that does not read correctly, such as fhdehhe.exe or similar. If it is running stop it by clicking on it and then click on end process. If it is not running go to the next step.
#3 Search for a file with the following name. "t3e0ilfioi3684m2nt3ps2b6lru" search without the quotes and delete every entry you find.
#4 Since the registry entries for this file are randomly generated you need to use software that will find them and remove them. To do this download a system and registry scanner. This will help you to get rid of XP total security 2011 quickly.

Re: Virus help?
Thanks for the help, but figured out the virus. Annoyingly, the guy who made the virus updated it yesterday, whereas I updated my security three days ago. :/
Anyway, the anti-virus programs are running now, and they've detected the bad stuff in the programs.

If you're in the scummier parts of this very series of tubes these very interwebs this physically nonexistent place, then you're using the wrong computer. I personally use my "gaming" computer for...well, gaming...and an old crapbox for my work/archiving.
