Post by forces »

No option in options menu is working - rezolution stays at 640x480, cannot turn off fullscreen. is there any solution?

Restart Egoboo and the changes will take effect.

Yes, resolution, anti aliasing and full screen settings won't take effect until you restart Egoboo.

No, they wont. I tried that even before posting this post.

Try editing them through setup.txt then. It's in the same folder as the executable.
Also, the latest SVN and Binary have the menus scale according to your resolution so that their size is fixed, so if you're using those it may seem at first like the resolution doesn't change.

Actually, Zefz and Birdsey (but mostly Birdsey, he did that change AFAIK), can you make this feature optional? I like my GUI and menus smaller.

There is a good reason we added that option. Now all the buttons and text look good no matter the resolution. It also looks exactly how we want it to.

You might not have write access to setup.txt. Add write access to setup.txt and you should be good to go

More specifically, everything we tried to do to automatically format the screen failed pretty miserably for someone... :(
