[Resolved]Exporting Bug (2.6.9)
I was playing 2.6.9 (I don't know what revision though) and completed the soldier starter with a soldier named Krena. He had a spear in his right hand went I exited.
He then went to Zippy and the spear had turned into a weird blue thingy... I have no idea how it could have happened.
It spawned money when used, did animations, and killed people.
I died and it stole stuff from the shop that I left when I died, was detected and messed up the torch model. "Blah was detected!"
I went back to Zippy and it was still there.. When I dropped it, it seemed to cycle through a humanoid's animations. And still killed people..
It's kinda hard to explain. But I have some screenshots, that might help. I think I'll put them in a zip file and have them uploaded. (there are a lot of them)
Edit: Thread title changed from Weird Bug.. - Big Blue Thingy (2.6.9) to Exporting Bug (2.6.9)

Actually, it reminds me of that bug we had a few months ago with the book of burning hands spitting out coins instead of flames.
Thanks to penguinflyer2222 for the avatar, and to penguinflyer5234 for hosting it.

Spitting out coins means Egoboo tries to spawn a non-existing particle.
If you used the last revison (post-2.7.0b), it is pretty probable that the global object system is causing it, since that's about the only big change made lately. Does anyone experience this on the latest official release 2.7.0b?

Well, I had figured that was why it was spitting out coins when I figured out it was an exporting problem.
It just didn't know what it was supposed to be doing.
I think I'll get the svn thingy today so I can update to the newest revision and see what happens.
Edit: I updated to revision 390, and got this error when I tried to play:
FATAL ERROR: DATA.TXT was not found! (basicdat/book.obj/data.txt)
I looked in basicdat but book.obj was not there. I guessed it was in the globalobjects folder. It was. I also noticed it was not in the readme-globalobjects.txt, but that might've been intentional.

Well, it works now.. *bombs the semi-pointless thread*
Changed the title of the thread.
Edit: If you still want to see the screenshots, download them here: http://www.mediafire.com/?xmmfmkzdm1z
