2.6.8 always keeps crashing under OSX 10.4 right after I pick a module. It is not important which module I try to load (adventurer or elf, e.g.). Although I'm not sufficiently informed about Egoboo's inner workings, it looks to me as though switching to 3D seems to be the problem.
The menu and everything is working fine. I tried to tweak the video settings, but it didn't work out.

Do you see any indication of a reason for the crash in log.txt? (in the Egoboo folder)
Are you on a PPC Mac by any chance? I've had reports that the binary I compiled for 2.6.8 doesn't work on PPC Macs. After 2.6.8, I found and fixed a bug that would probably only manifest on PPC computers. Perhaps you can try building the latest revision yourself?
