It seems that the Paladin's Holy Smite ability does not permanently kill Ghouls. Is there some way to get that to happen?

It also appears to be unable to finish off Vampires or damage Ghosts.


This code:

produces a 50% chance, not a 66% chance.

Immediately after that code, there appears to be another likely bug:

Shouldn't there be another SetTargetToSelf before the SetTargetToTargetRightHand?

Generates either 0, 1 or 2. So it should work?

Would the holy smite not be overpowered if it killed undead like that?

Mana cost for protect spells should be reduced then.

The SetTarget bug you mention doesnt cause any bugs. It works properly, no need to change it? When the target does not exist, egoboo probably tries the old target instead (which is the holder in this case).

Ghosts can only be killed by non-physical damage or silver. Regeneration rate has been a big issue for the Yeti, vampire, etc. That has been fixed now.

[spoiler]Beta Testing Report: Day 1.
Could not test for bugs.

Beta Testing Report: Day 2.
1. Water Palace title is named title.BMP, causing it not to work.

2. Moggy doesn't spawn in Forgotton Fortress due to missing colon in spawn.txt. (Known)

3. Meena in Forgotton Fortress seems to want to go to a statue when passing by and doesn't do anything else.

4. In Elf Starter, when you have empty hands, the icon is a weird lumpkin. (Known?)

5. In Elf Starter, the lumpkin with a torch attacks you when you are morphed into a lumpkin before blowing your cover. (maybe not, hm..)

6. In the Wizard Starter, the empty hand icon is just white. (Known?)

Beta Testing Report: Day 3.
1. When you use a sword on the evil altar in the Padlin Starter, it shows a message that you need to use a crushing weapon about six times.

2. The Paldin has a grammar error. "I can't let this weight me down!" Weight should be weigh.

3. In the Wizard Starter, in the starting room, the shelf says "(Player name) almost killed a Shelf..."

4. In the Wizard Starter, when you bump into another shelf, it says "Use the protect spell to defelct incoming missles." Defelct should be deflect.

5. Book of Burning Hands only gives out gold coins when used. (Known)

6. In the Zombie Starter, the master uses his wand and it leaves blue wand top thingys everywhere.
Beta Testing Report: Day 4.
1. In the Forgotten Fortess, zombie players never die.

2. In the Adventurer Starter, there is weird stuff in front of the doors.

3. In the Adventurer Starter, there is a weird white trog.

4. All starters have weird empty hand icons.

5. K'nife's Heist has weird white pit cobras sometimes.

Beta Testing Report: Day 5.
1. The spork door in the Ash Palace is broken. (Known)

Beta Testing Report: Day 6.
1. In K'nife's Heist, the sound says "I'll watch your back." when you bump him at the beginning, but the message says "The treasury is through this maze." The sound is wrong.

Beta Testing Report: Day 7.
1. The shuffling heap in the archaeolgist starter has tris.BMP, which might cause problems.

2. In the Wizard Starter, the cobol door always says "The door is locked.." (Known)

3. The Elf Starter won't do anything when you take the faeries to the mushroom ring. (Known)

4. In Bishopia, the ship and gryphon tower have white button thingys.

Beta Testing Report: Day 8.
1. There is another white trog in the Water Palace by the acid blobs.

2. Some modules have script errors.

3. Meena doesn't always spawn in Bishopia, it seems.[/spoiler]

dam, the game crash badly. after i finish with my wizzard the shadow palace, all moduls a locked (all moduls under load saved player a black), but if i go on select modul, i can play the zombi starter ( i have not unlooked this). then i quit the starter, the zombi char is on the players directory, but i not finish the modul. under new player it is the same.

I found yet another bug in the pet trader script. This one causes the new pet to spawn in the wrong place:

              tmpy = targety
              tmpdistance = targetz + 50
              SpawnExactCharacterXYZ        //And spawn a new one!
