The first pitfall you encounter in the Shadow Palace is inhabited by mysterious creatures called "the Dark Ones." You can get some interesting results from having things fall into the pit.

The Dark Ones have been there for a very long time (since the palace was new, I believe).
But right now, dropping the Spork in it doesn't do anything.
The only classes that are actually in the game are the ones listed as "completed."

I think there is only one thing you can receive right now.
However, you can give them indigestion if you jump in yourself.

...It doesn't do anything. It's just funny. :)

Up to you.

Hubbin:
Hubbins are sort of a parody of Hobbits, a creature invented by J.R.R. Tolkien (The Lord of the Rings, The Hobbit, The Silmarilion, etc.). You could look those up on Wikipedia for some help.
Hubbins are in Soulfu (that's where the idea came from), so if you've played that it would be very helpful. In it they're basically Rogues. I was thinking that in Egoboo they'd have Rogue skills like backstabbing and disarming, and then either magic (probably Divine, as we have enough Arcane magic users already) or the Gambler skill (like the Jester and Pirate have; use unusual sorts of items... probably needs a better name).

Porc:
Porcs are also in Soulfu. They're like humanoid pigs. They actually resemble the orcs in Wesnoth quite a bit (whatwith them always wearing helmets and such).
Here's a picture:
Image
Underneath the helmet their faces look like a pig's... I think it'd be cool if the fourth armor had no helmet, so it's going to need a pretty complicated model (first the whole character, then a helmet made up of entirely new faces so that they could all be made transparent to show the head).
This one's going to be pretty tough, I guess, mostly because of the model.

Monk:
Your stereotypical European sort of monk. Shaved head, brown robes.... Should be really good with staff-type weapons, and use Divine magic.
Probably would be a little bit like a rogue-healer combination, but mostly just with stats (it shouldn't be able to backstab or anything); high dexterity and such.

Don't forget that the Hubbin should probably be pretty short. Sort of like the G'nome, I guess, but no beard or crazy hair or anything.

I know, aren't they the greatest?

I think they're one of the best things Aaron has come up with, really. Maybe even better than Cobols....
