The intro on the modules would be difficult though... Unless we play the voice while the module is loading and have a "press a key to begin" so the player can control when to actually start and stop listening to the narrator/reading the text.

That'd maybe make it insanely stressful to make new modules. Although if it'd be only for the main quest, dunno. Or maybe I'm just weird/annoying.

Because at this point all you do is sit and look at a loading screen for a couple of minutes while the module loads. Having a voice read the module description would distract the user from the boring wait and let the know that something is happening.

For the first couple of times, sure, but then it gets dull. Most people, I think, will prefer to alt-tab or go do something else for a couple of minutes.

For those that don't, you can toss in some loading tips a-la NWN, Balders Gate, etc.

We already gave those loading tips :P

@Seth: Yeah I was thinking of a mix of mere chatter and useful information. This isn't only to add a new depth for quests, but also create an atmosphere of an actual live city. Indeed a reference to Elder Scrolls ;)

I think it would also be nice if the villagers would do something.
For example, the peasants should do some work - like carry hay or something and throw it into carts, chop wood or do similar things. This would make the atmosphere much more lively.

i apologize for the lack of peasant voices, but use do too many and it sounds too obvious its the same person. working on Angus, just one more line, but for the life of me i cant get it right. also, i tried reading the openings to the quests: they didnt really sound right to me, but maybe it was just my voice that didnt sound right. anyway, enjoy.

Awesome. I forgot to mention I had expanded the guard messages a bit. I added a few new ones if the player becomes a criminal or if the player is a female/male character.
Message 6: Good_day_to_you_sir!
Message 7: What_can_I_do_for_you_my_lady?
Message 8: Move_along_sir.
Message 9: We_serve_and_protect.
Message 10: Stay_out_of_trouble.
Message 11: Good_day_madam.
Message 12: Keep_moving..
Message 13: Obey_the_law_or_we_will_put_you_in_jail!
Message 14: Die_criminal!
Message 15: Justice_will_be_swift_and_painful!
Message 16: There_he_is!
You have already done most of them, but it would be awesome if the missing ones were added as well!
