Lord strikes with question again!

Post by Lordofdragonss »

Just downloaded the version 2.9.0 and it seems the controls I use for walking are not working. I tried many combinations, and when I press the buttons nothing happens even if there are good buttons in the controls.txt . The other controls are fine. Any idea how to fix this?

I had the same problem before. Have you tried restarting the game after setting the controls in the in-game options before attempting to actually play?

That sounds like the egoboo folder in your application data cannot be written to (or doesn't even exist). What OS are you using? I recall having had similar troubles with Windows XP, and now that I have Windows 7 instead, it kinda works. Kinda.

It should be in application data / roaming / egoboo, or something like that. Your egoboo folder should have a shortcut that is supposed to lead directly to that folder in your application data.
