2.81 Stable: Saved characters don't show up.

Post by Maxaxle »

1. I beat the Adventurer module.
2. I verified that the character's .obj folder was in the right place after saving.
3. I tried copying/renaming it, but that didn't help.

Any ideas?

About 3, did you also change the name in naming.txt and stuff instead of just renaming the folder? I know that when the game still worked for me, the game actually checked for the naming.txt names as well when distinguishing between "different" characters.

I found that if you have multiple characters then they will be there except for the most recently created one. Also Pap doesn't seem to want to hang on to his items.. NVM I STOOPID forgot the items in spawn.txt

Hmm, I'll try that.

EDIT: Changed the folder name from "Luggy.obj" to "Loggy.obj", and changed "Luggy" to "Loggy" in naming.txt, but it still won't show up.
