Hope this is already fixed in the svn.
EDIT: Although the character is indeed saved, it's as if Egoboo can't see it...Any ideas?
Saved characters don't show up at character select screen.

Is your save folder missing any files?
Or maybe your version contains that ancient bug where the first folder in your save folder is not loaded. (try making a copy of that savegame into the same folder)

I'm using the "stable" 2.81, and you're saying to copy my saved game into the Egoboo folder?Zefz wrote:Is your save folder missing any files?

no, simply make a copy of the same savegame into the same folder.
Example:
saves/loggy.obj
After:
saves/loggy.obj
saves/loggy2.obj
Example:
saves/loggy.obj
After:
saves/loggy.obj
saves/loggy2.obj

Ah, okay. I just wonder why this would be an issue.Zefz wrote:no, simply make a copy of the same savegame into the same folder.

Sorry I haven't replied for three days, but apparently copying/renaming the folder did nothing.
