I decided to start a thread for class and hero class suggestions here... The first is:
The PILGRIM. He can't wield most weapons except of the Quarter Staff and his own special thing, has a bit less HP than the Elf, and his armours base defense values also suck - although he has a great EVIL defense. His only strength is his absolute faith...
Instead of an unarmed attack he can pray. That means, he kneels down a bit and invests holy mana to heal himself. Not too overpowered, because you need about 3MP to heal 1HP (with starting wisdom) and it takes its time to pray. Praying will additionally grant a small chance to cause kursed items to be dropped depending on level.
If he stands still a certain time, he will see items and creatures highlighted through walls; Blessed items glow and he can see kurses as well.
He can also bless weapons: when he activates a weapon he can't use, he will cast a sustained blessing on the weapon that makes it effective agains undeads, gets a bit faster and deals 1 point extra damage.
But he can even defend himself in melee a bit: he has a "holy spear" in his inventory, a mysterious glowing and transparent polearm that goes poof when dropped but restored in his inventory automatically.
That he can use runes very well, is self-explanatory.
Stats:
2-3 HP
6-8 MP
Mana regen: slow to medium
Mana flow:medium
STR 2-4
DEX 8-12
INT 16-18
WIS 20-24
SPD: slow
Armours: rags - a coat - a Monk Cowl - Blessed Robes
Defense: (0 0 10 30)
Physical: (1 1 1 2)
Elemental: (0 1 2 3)
Evil: (2 2 3 5)
Crusader: gained in Level 8
He is an overly specialized class... I know... but he could be cool as a special character. He can do things that no other class can do, but pays for his uniqueness with the lack of most normal skills. He will begin being really useful when multiplayer works, since he is mighty against the undead, but weak against anything else and he will surely require a very strange playing style. I came up with him because there is the Paladin (religious tank), the Healer (religious Jack-of-all-trades), but no "squishy cleric" class, if you know what I mean. Maybe he is a bit too squishy and skilled in other things, but his concept can be revisited if needed.
I already imagined a starter module for him... I will tell you more soon.[/list]
New classes that could be interesting

I'm still a bit confused about the levelling system
Supposedly some classes can evolve into other classes? Has that been programmed in yet?
If so, these are pretty good evolution classes.

Yeah, characters from the starter modules can do modules to make themself into Hero Classes, which are more specialised, and it's completely optional.

After long time, I come up with a new class: The HUNTRESS. She is a fast and skilled fighter who is especially powerful against hidden characters (what would pave the way for a "Bounty Hunter" hero class *coughKatherinecough*) and would be somewhere between Elf, Rogue and Adventurer in gameplay.
ADVANTAGES AND DISADVANTAGES
+She can disarm and disdisarm traps; maybe she can lay traps with a special bonus on damage, less visibility or greater range.
+She can "track" enemies. That means that she can see the tracks of her foes and can use them to find them. (tracks could be displayed by footsteps or glowing lines; or maybe she has to "mark" the enemy with a special sort of arrow.)
+Possibly, she could be able to get meat from corpses that can be eaten for heals.
+She can wield advanced weapons.
+She gets a speed bonus on bows.
-Her armours have bad defense.
Stats:
4-6 HP
STR 8-14
DEX 14-22
INT 6-10
WIS 6-10
SPD: fast
Armours: Light Clothes - a Light Scale Armour - a Ranger Coat - a Heroic Elven Armour
Acceleration: (65 50 75 60)
Defense: (10 30 25 50)
Physical: (1 3 2 3)
Elemental: (1 2 2 2)
Skills
Tracking: Level 2
Trap Mastery: Level 4
Precision Aiming: The longer you hold the "use" key before releasing it, the better and stronger arrows hit; Level 6.
Hero classes:
>Amazon
+arcane magic (but worse than the adventurer; meant in first place for a bit support by fast and easy attack spells spells like Missile or Pyro Blast)
+critical strikes
+bow mastery
-even worse armour
-no disemboweling
-no tracking
-no traps
>Juggler
+can handle two items simultaneously
+better speed; double and later triple jumps
-no tracking
-no traps
>Bounty Hunter
+can track even invisible creatures
+immune vs. backstab
+cannot use heavy weapons (war hammer, lance, broadsword)
-no disemboweling
