A lil list of ideas [UPDATED 09.04.]

Here is a list of ideas:

New module: Arena. A place to fight any monsters encountered so far in the story line or a team agains another. Team can contain either human players or AI players or both. If AI players are used they must be found from towns and hired to join the team. Maybe even monsters could be bribed to join the team. There could be items for hiring and bribing that can be found from arena. There could also be something like minigames in arena, like football, sumowrestling or egoboo style (team) tag (Traditional hand to hand way or Egoboo style with weapons and spells?) ._.

New spell: Charm. As the name suggests, charms hostile creature to fight agains others. No exp if charmed creature kills another.

New Secret Class: Pytotechnician. aka. Pyromaniac specializes in fire based attacks. He can find his inner piece only when his enemies are turnet into ashes. Gets extra exp by burning stuff such as books and scrolls. Can be unlocked through a new mini quest in one of the already existing modules. I thought about something like burning every book/scroll and by lighting all the torches in one of the towns while wielding ever flame torch. Possible fighting styles & weapons:
-Lamp/Lamp Oil and torch. This is the source of his fire ._.
-Can breath fire (like hot dogs in fire palace?) whenever holding lamp and torch. Later needs only lamp. Leaves a burn condition to enemys. If enemy is holding books they will be burned.
-Any fire based attack dealed to Pyrotechnician will burn mana/energy/whatever instead of life. Life will be burned after he's out of mana.
-Gains "Self ignite" ability (on lvl6, 12 or perhaps even later) while using a torch or lamp in one hand. Under this condition any melee attack received will hurt the attacker as well. Additional fire damage will be added to any weapon he's holding (3-5 extra damage perhaps? weapon glows red) and all non-metal/glass items will be turned into ashes if picked up. Also fire breath should possibly get some bonuses such as extra flame length and/or damage and/or area of effect and does not require lamp or torch as long as you are flaming. Flames extinguishes in a few seconds (8-12 possibly?) or if Pyrotechnician gets soaked by enemy using water/ice skill).
-Flame traps using a lamp and gun powder/box of ammo/normal bomb.
-Books/scrolls turns into living flames (summons) if held in hand and used while a lamp/torch is equiped in another hand. Has a melee attack. Pretty weak. can be used either as minions or held on palm and mixed with weapon to add fire enchant to it. a weapon enchanted using living flame can be used only a limited amount of times and will be melt/burned (destroying the weapon completely? maybe gains an ability to protect the wepon from breaking if enough mana left when the weapon runs out of charges) after the charges runs out. A living flame could also possibly be mixed with another one to create a Lesser living flame with better abilities.
-Uses new kind of weapon - Fireworks!

The arena seems very very nice and fun, but to keep it fair, there should be either a charge on fighting there, only 1/2 experience gains, a limit that you can compete only once at each point of quest progress or after beating or something else that prevents you from grinding there to level One Hundred And Eight and erasing everything in the palaces simply with the power of your awesome stats.

Charm seems a bit uber - except if it works only on weak monsters, costs tons of mana to sustain and can only affect one monster a time.

The pyrotechnican seems to be a nice secret - or G'nome hero? - class. Kind of mighty, but so specialized that he won't be a Game Breaker.
