New objects

Some suggestions for new equipment and weapons:
Frogspring - you can double-jump with it.
Fly Swat - A very fast weapon that deals 1 ZAP damage. Useless against everything except of mosquitos and other flyers.
mountable grub bug - self-explanatory. Maybe a mount if possible.
Dummy - You can test your weapons and spells with it.
Dummy Mimic - You can also test your weapons and spells with it, but it will get angry.
Stool Mimic - :D
Beartrap Mimic - creeps around and tries to get you trapped. :twisted:
Mimic Pet - Should be available for the tourist. (Know Luggage from the Discworld books?)
Rat - We just need it. As small as a grub bug, but more vulnerable against slashing weapons, with slightly more lifepoints, a bit faster and more aggressive.

The dummy, frogspring and mimics sound really cool! Frogspring would be so easy it isn't funny.

I like your ideas too.
I once made a "punching bag" thingy a looooong time ago when I still used 2.7.5 only..
It's a red box thingy that floats above the ground iirc. I could buff it up to a dummy.
Edit: We should have the rats be albino lab rats like that skin Purple did. (I just saw it in the mouse summon mount Zefz made)

I can just imagine the bear trap mimic creeping around with its little insect legs whenever the player is looking away.

It was a Doom-style level in Egoboo. :lol:

I just converted a bunch of Doom tilesets into Egoboo and made a level that looked like a big computer room with a pool of acid. There were also a bunch of Hell-rovers that I colored to look like the pink bull demons.

I still have it stashed somewhere, I think.

I think that including a Doom map into Egoboo doesn't really fit, but it would be great to make such a module full of demons. A tunnel system with mephits, your imps, maybe a hellrover or two, etc... it could be a sidequest "Asmodeus' cellar" accessible to any of your characters after you finished the Wizard Starter. The goal could be to find some sort of key or amulet...
