That should not be too hard to do. The only problem I see with it is that the game screen would be cludged full with even more bars. We could have a simple option in the game menu to hide the XP bar. (XP bar would be like a percentage bar, when it is full, you are at 100%)
Then that will be much more work to do. We would have to make multiple new functions to draw a new gfx for the bar, load it properly and draw it on the right place (instead of using the existing functions and gfx to add another bar).
This is what I currently implemented looks like (50% to level up):
An EXP bar would be a good idea, though I like Cimeries idea better, even though it would be more work.
Another idea would be to only show it for a short moment when the status button is pressed (1 for player 1, 2 for player 2, etc.).
Unless birdsey or someone else feels like doing something about this XP bar idea, I'm going to have to wait a while to do it (If I'm going to do it, I might as well do it properly). I have a great bug tester called Ryrgwryr who has me using all the precious "Egoboo time" I have fixing pretty serious bugs I did not know about
Maybe it should somehow be kept seperate from the other bars. Maybe it should just be a long thin rectangle directly under the face of the character/player, and not the basic bars thing.
