Re: Woody's little art corner
Although potatoes burrow, some species are semi-aquatic. Potatoes have cylindrical bodies covered in fur while the ears are generally not visible. They have small or covered eyes and can probably still tell night from day, although they are otherwise blind.[1] Potatoes eat small invertebrates living underground. Potatoes can be found in most parts of North America,[2] Asia, and Europe, although there are no moles in Ireland.[3]

Walked using his butt, like Jabba the Hutt.Cimeries wrote:How did it get there? Seriously, it has no legs or arms to climb with or any other visible means of locomotion, how the hell did it get itself to the top of that steep hill?

Herp derp!?
No, actually this is .... uhmm, intentional!? Because, you know, potatoes absolutely totally feed on (or symbiotically coexist with!?) moles, so they, like, cannot exist without moles. Or something.

I'm bored 99% of the time when I'm not bored, which is 99% of the time when I'm bored.Maxaxle wrote:Be bored more often, because that was awesome.

I approve of end result. Your backgrounds are quite pretty.
Have you ever tried using the pen tool? It looks like you're doing your potato shapes etc. by mouse, and that is a surefire way of getting smooth curves with the mouse.
Also, intense music. B)

Re: Woody's little art corner
Well, I'd imagine it'd be harder, because my hand always starts to hurt if I draw (on paper) with a pen/pencil. I'm not sure why, though... maybe my hands aren't made for squeezing things or I'm just not holding them in the right way or something.Agent of Dread wrote:I approve of end result. PS: now that I look at it, the sun sucks quite a bit... The lightray things didn't go in the right place... but well.
It was just something random with this vst and fake nature sounds (which were done with other vst synths), BUT I'm not 100% sure if the melody/whatever is from something?Agent of Dread wrote:Also, intense music. B)
...and also, now I'm too bored to be bored, or even... too bored to be bored of being bored when bored!

Re: Woody's little art corner
The pen tool works nothing like a pen in real life, lol. You click to make points which form a path, and you can curve them by click+dragging when you make them. From there you can fill the path, stroke another tool like the brush along the lines of the path or make it a selection. It's the main reason I even use Photoshop. :p

Re: Woody's little art corner
Oh, you meant that... I thought you meant the pen mouse thing... But I don't have that kinda thing in photoshop, as far as I know, since it's ANCIENT... I use the 7.0 version.Agent of Dread wrote:The pen tool works nothing like a pen in real life, lol. EDIT: Oh, there is... well, I'll try using it for something, but it seems retarded.

Re: Woody's little art corner
I use it for all my lineart, but it is generally thought to be one of Photoshop's most confusing tools. Until you learn to use it.

My mother uses Photoshop 6 (pwned! ), and already has that tool.
