I might have randegoboo lying around on my pc somewhere. It is uploaded on sourceforge too (A modified and updated version of randegoboo). Even one with networking. It's named version 2.3.6 or something like that (pretty far back). You could check the changelog for any clues.

So it is archived somewhere on our project site (though not the 100% clean original version of randegoboo).

I think this is a full distribution. If it is missing modules, you can copy the missing modules from another egoboo distribution into the ./modules dir. It only supports script commands through version 2.22, so most of the stuff that Zefz has added will not work and may make the program crash. But most "missing" modules will work fine.

It's all about the module linking. Get that working and you never have to look at the loading screen again!!!

That version used Randmap, and that is a bit of a pain to compile, so not much was done with it.

Module linking would not be that hard to do if we started from scratch, though! :)

Yes, making some corresponding script commands to start a new module and exit the current while saving status can't be too hard.

Module Linking has been long on the todo list. But before we begin developing that one, we want to finish up the current code and maybe even get the new EgoMap working. If we continue to add new features to the game and not finishing up existing ones, we will get a "feature creep".

(Which is why Zippy project died away)
