I was aware that it looked like the healer.
The problem with the healer there is that takes away some of the dramatic irony that is the humor in this strip.
The "funny" is that (1) you get the unexpected result of healing = killing, and (2) the irony of zombor not being killed by people who hate him and being killed by someone who is a "friend".
If the healer is zombor's friend from the beginning, then funny idea (1) is going to make the reader think that zombor and the healer are just stupid, which is much less funny.
If they are supposed to be friends, maybe it works this way: zombor to says something like "ohhh... I had a hard day...", the healer then offers to help, and the end panel is the healer saying "oops", or something. |
