About Egoboo is the creation of Aaron Bishop (who was originally known only as "Programmer X"). With the help of his brother Ben Bishop, he eventually released it as open source. But soon he grew tired of the project and it was more or less abandoned. Hope was not lost, however! Soon, the "Zippy Project" took over, and the game was developed even further. Of course, all good things come to an end at some point, and the Zippy Project eventually died as well. It looked like a sad time for Egoboo, but pretty soon Johan Jansen (alias "Zefz") and his "Resurrection" project surfaced. Egoboo was developed pretty steadily after that. Now, Egoboo is enjoying even more progress, and "Resurrection" has become the fully official Egoboo project. Egoboo is totally free, and is open source. If you think you can be of any help, please visit the "Development" section and find out how! Egoboo is a dungeon-crawling action-RPG adventure. It has a unique mood, and is a lot of fun to play. In Egoboo, you will find heaps of loot, kill hordes of monsters, and discover many unusual places on your quest to save Lord Bishop from his imminent doom!
